not had much sleep lately,
(if u had 3 daughters you wouldent get much sleep either)

anyhoo what do we know bout this one?

all ive got is the original series is gonna end soon and the "lost city" now unsurprisingly turns out to be atlantis.
some of the original cast members are gonna pop in from time to time.

ill miss the old characters.
thats my lame attempt to start a discusion.

Um, the original series isn't going to end. Season 8 starts on July 8th or thereabouts ...

Stargate SG-1 new season starts on Friday, July 9th. Atlantis on July 16th a week afterwards, SG-1 at 7 pm EST and the 2 hour premiere for Atlantis will be shown twice, once at 9 and again at 11 pm EST. I'm looking forward to it since I start watching SG-1 again this past season (missed part of 5 and some of 6)

i thought the season 8 2 episode starter was pretty good, a bit rushed but i liked the replicator carter.
and whats with tealc's hair? lmfao

so atlantis is a flying city/ship.
from the trailers not sure of the outfits, y change what already works? keep the militry outfits as is.
i see that the pilot (cant remember his name ) is basically jack....like they said in the atlantis preview, he has a sense of humor like jack hes a pilot like jack ect ect lmao y not just put rda in atlantis?
but anyhoo im sure well all luv it, roll on tonight (or tommorrow when i get it of bt or usenet)

yay watched atlantis last night,
was it just my copy or were some scenes missing? (crimson)
the plot just seemed to miss out certain details and seemed very rushed.
but anyhoo luuuuuuuuuuurrrrrrrvvvvvvvveeeeeeee the wraith, blow the snake heads away totally.
series seems a little darker which is deffinatly a step in the right direction.
roll on every friday sg-1 and atlantis boy are we spoiled.

Amazing that you have seen all of the episodes for Sg-1 aaaannnd Atlantis. Boy must of taken a long time to catch up on the Atlantis seires.

The only thing I don't like about SG-1 now days is the fact that it is on Sci-Fi instead of on Showtime. Maybe there is a bigger audience able to watch now but I don't care who else watches the shows I enjoy most!

Crappy editing aside the DSR versions are nice to view. Kind of like watching it on a channel I pay for. Oh shit I pay for Sci-Fi and still get bullshit commercials!

yeah i heard showtime showed sg with out adverts.

the bbc did the same with star trek

Channel 4 (They show SG) is advert full.

I started watching sg about a year ago, nice show, well it was untill Mac starts being "funny"

in which case is turns into a fucking episode of voyager.

Third eps tend to be lame in my experience. But I do like how they've been keeping the show just as hilarious as SG-1. Like with the shield falling off the scientist's chest just as soon as Weir suggests that he use it for some good.

And Shepherd's trying to tell Friday the 13th as a ghost story.

Yeah, the doctor's accent is really annoying me, but I think he's a funny character at least. Funnier than they ever made Fraiser in SG-1 (but not as good-looking).
