Very nice release but if you have the nbp one, this ain´t that much different.

this is the one to get imo & the asteroids one ia divx so why even mention its the best which it is but no good to 90% of ppl becasue we want to watch on standalone or is every one still watching these on pc? i for one convert to dvd-r and watch on my 40" plassy

this release is good but cant see why this was needed. asteroids release was as good as it gets till retail. the chase is over with this one. so,lets concentrate on a new adventure.

least it gives people a choice and possibly some one to challange asteroids but then again it could just be a freakin rerip of asteroids.. who knows..

I thought you guys actully enjoyed shuting down the 3 or 4 groups that always like to tweak a source and call it proper...

i have allready rated this release, im not wasting my time giving credit to all those cool ass re-inc groups that call themselves proper...

if you have enough time to re-inc the source, why dont you get off your ass and get a DIFFRENT source and proper a movie that needs it...

All my movies are burned using "PC Club" generic CD-R, and generic DVD-R disks. They are played on a AVAYON DXP1000 xvid/svcd/vcd/blah blah blah blah player...

valid proper as the other svcd was in widescreen and it isnt a valid svcd format, Should have been FS with borders

you guys did a good job, but the Asteroids release I watched yesterday on my big screen was the standard.

good version.. just as the dvdr and divx.. this is just a proper rip.. of the dvdr

The DVDR release by Royal is the best quality (Better than astreroid xvid) This release wasnt exactly needed....

theres always tv-out video cards.... get 1

You can buy a divx standalone player for like 70 bucks if you don't like to convert.


I do agree the Asteroids release was nicer.

Or there is always a modded xbox. XBMC is fantastic. I have now stopped burning VCDs and just stream them from my computer. I Dont actually burn a disc until the retail dvdr comes out.

As for the release, quality is what we've seen in the past on this movie, just fixed the res issue.

umm, why release a proper? I can't find anything in either previous TC releases to warrent a proper, guess I'll have to go read some nfos.

P.s.

The asteroids copy is XVID. divx and xvid can EASILY be converted to DVD-r/svcd with winavi, in like 20 mins per 700 meg xvid.

The xvid was the superior of the two, and I'll stick with my conversion of that than this. (Tho looks just as good on DVD as it did thru s-video out)

Great release iffins you need it, xvid still seems to be of a higher encode of possibly the same source

I know Im only suppose to be commenting on this release but I fee like I have to say something in response to several comments that have been made. THE ORIGINAL RELEASE. This Pre'd as an xvid. The ROYAL DVD-R was created using that xvid. The ASTROiDS release used direct stream copy for video. The video was untouched ( therefore the least altered and therefore the best in this case.by default) and was simply redubbed in English. The NBP release was ripped and encoded poorly from the the ROYAL DVD-R. Thats why the low - res - lol. Anyhow, what Im trying to get at is.WHY THE FU***** FAN FAIR. Every group who has recieved any attention from releasing this movie didnt have anything to do with the original film to video transfer anyhow.Its one GIANT CHAIN of LEECH ( asside from one dedicated grp taking the time to capture English audio ). I have my bets on ROYAL but I really dont know how far the leech latter goes. Anyhow, the base of my statement is this. Its been what so many people have been saying just in many more word s ( possibly redundent ) ..... THIS HAS BEEN DONE! ItsNotMe, it been done several times now and your PROPER is BS. ITS A WASTE OF TIME.

As far as the quality of rip. Looks Great. Sounds Great. But perhaps there should be an additional catogory added for legitimicy. If there was I would rate this release at - 10.

like i said before..if you got a early rls then stick with it..this is all about the same quality.

This is a nice full screen copy.

I watched it on my 32 inch TV and played it from my older Pioneer Standalone DVD player.

This picture quality looked great and the sound was nice & clear.
If it was dubbed, then I couldn't tell....In fact I didn't notice any problems with this release.

No, I dont' have a plasma TV, and I may not have the greatest home theater set up, but on my very average set up this looked great. I have no complaints about this release.

I'll take a release with this type of quality everytime.
