this screener has a counter at the top of the page dont download it as there is a better version. try dvdsc posted on boneless by black in black no counter (cropped from the above source) cracking quality.

bib dvdsc release
v10- even though its cropped it does'nt take anything away from the film. very nice as good as a dvdrip.

It's a telecine and encoding is a total failure...

Anyways, this release isn't needed because the retail is only about a month or so away, and it's not the great of quality.

Based on the sample -

V: 6 (Counter, very pixilated)
A: 7 (sounds very downsampled)
M: Haven't seen yet - waiting for retail.

there is another final destination 3 dvdsc on alt binaries bonless posted by bib no counter and is very very good even though its cropped.

I downloaded the sample to this one and it has a big fuck off timer at the top.

Did a bit of looking around and found a crystal clear dvdscr with (appears anyways from quick run through) no marks, timers, property of messages.

Dont know what the group is but just for anyones info filename is:

V: 5 (Poor and big timer)
A: 7
M: 9 (Love the series and the deaths get gorier)

this is crap, obvious TC. just what i expected from gaRBagesupplier. right on par with the rest of their stuff.

grab this one --> Final.Destination.3-DVDSCR-Xvid-Ac3-BIB. it's a real screener with excellent quality. the audio is only 2-chan AC3, but the video is top notch.

i can't see a problem, i'd much rather download a xvid rip of a half decent film instead of wasting my bandwidth on a full retail release of something i'll probably only watch once.

Wow, the idiots are out in number today.

This is NOT a TC, it's most definitely a DVDSCR, counter on the top doesn't really distract from the film if you can't wait until the retail which is slated for a 25th july release then grab this one, I didn't bother to get any TS or Cam of this so eagerly watched this version.

As for people saying this is a TC and BiB' release is an actual DVDSCR... it's the same fucking source idiots.

BiB did a nice little crop on the top to remove the ticker.

Well, this is how the scene works. First we get cams, then we get TS's, then we get TC,s then SCRs & DVD SCRs, then rips. Although sometimes that order changes, that's generally how it goes. This happens to be a DVDSCR that was released to the scene before a dvdrip was. The fact that the rip is not far off is irrelevant.

have any of you actually watched the bib release i was the first one to say about it and i must say it looks nothing like mavenssupplier version. the picture quality is 10 times better and its one of the best xvids i have seen for ages. it actually looks like a dvdrip.

Well if the source is dvd and its a screener by my powers of deduction its a dvd screener! if the source aint dvd what is it? cos it certainly aint vhs! And ive seen some good TC's but that is just too good for a TC

Get rid off the counter on the top

If the counter distract you then remove it.

1. download latest AviSynth (alpha) from www.avisynth.org
2. install it
3. make this simple script in notepad:

AviSource("d:\movies\fd3.avi")
crop(0,16,-0,-0)
ConvertToYUY2()

and save it as name.avs
Note: ofcourse replace ("d:\movies\fd3.avi") with your own path

4. play the file name.avs in your favourite media player and the counter is gone. Enjoy.

PS: You need fast CPU for this. Atleast Athlon 3000+ or better. Or else there will be desynch if you have slow CPU.

Wow, that may possibly the greatest screener quality ever if it was a video screener and not a DVD source.

If I was wrong, I was wrong, but at least I can spell.

Edit;

After checking the file again there is no way on Earth that is from a normal VHS screener, the source for this is from a DVD, hey Roger - Maybe it's time to go to Specsavers.
