Company Logo

I have been working on a logo, I didn't have much to go on, no idea on design, or colors, I had some decent colors, but this is the one that was picked out, I don't think I like the colors. Nor do I like the gradient. Well it looks decent but I liked my other ideas more than this one. What do you guys think, I had to edit out the name of the company for obvious reasons.

and yes I got paid for it.

If anyones curious Illistrator was used for this job.
