Kinda expected better from Centropy, the aspect ratio is a bit awkward on this rls and the sound is fairly average. The picture is reasonable but a bit to bright in some spots, overall its alright nothing great.

though i am yet to see this movie, and just looking at the jpg on this website...i think this is a pretty good release, i have faith in centropy...they usually do good work... besides people, it's bootleg, free...why should i complain...if u complain about this rip...maybe you should start ur own ripping group...hey, i just tell it like it is

Had to see this in the theatre yesterday since It was one of the few books that I liked that I had to read in school, great story, great movie... Quality looks pretty good

yeah before i read SprolicK's post i was like damn this is going to start being like isonews. first of all, x69 should just make it where there is no cussing. there is no cussing needed to rate movies. if you disagree with someone just say you do and dont start yelling at them or telling them they are full of it. whoever does that should just be banned from posting and viewing the posts. x69 is doing a good job on the site as it is though, keep up the good work.

i was pretty impressed with the video quality i think they did a good job. definately better than kung pow, that isn't very good. this is close to screener with some exceptions but i give props to centropy

its got the somewhat blueish tent in dark parts of the movie i think, as for the intro ctp is doing fuckin rocks!! keep up the nice releases and props on the speed of this one =)

Pretty good

I just watched the first disk and I too noted the blue tint in parts but other then that it is a very good and fast release.

After watching the first CD I can say, thanks guys for the release. This is good enough in my book to enjoy. Keep up the good work

IS this a wp

Movie was great and release was great, but is this actually a wp.
It is either a wp or the editing for the movie was terrible. counted over 36 mic shots, 3 boom shots, during the sona scene the lens actually got material on them. The first major fight scene had different screen size based on angle of shot. Its not the release but the acuall movie. Anyone else think this is a wp? Centropy great release either way. Even better if it is a wp.

Very nice release. Definatly word the bandwidth. There is some small blue tints at some places but not that annoying

Great Release.

As usual, Centropy releases a good quality movie. The brightness in some parts is not too bad and neither is the bluish tint. And the sound was excellent...I must say that ever since the movie Vanilla Sky was ruined for me by some group who released a version with about 15 minutes missing, I have only watched 2 kinds of releases: 1) Screeners and 2) Centropy. Period. Thanks guys. Keep up the good work.

Another quality release by CTP, very good Audio - Video sync, although it definately was a chick flick.

i don't know what you all are complaining about, this is the best looking TS I think I've ever seen. The picture is excellence. Yes, it maybe bright sometimes, but it's not like it ruins the movie. It's a TS, not an SVCD DVD screener. My only complaint is the tag at the beginning, but at least they didn't watermark the movie itself, not that anyone does. Many props to Centropy.

Gotta agree with Frazzman and the Diggler. I have numerous Centropy releases and they are always top quality but on this release they screwed up the aspect ratio. It looks like they were trying to crop the sides to make the picture a little bigger and wound up distorting it in the process. The picture looks somewhat compressed vertically (like in a funhouse mirror), making everyone look shorter and wider than normal. If they can crop the sides a little to get a bigger picture without any distortion, I'm all for it. If they can't get rid of this distortion, then they need to go back to their standard ws releases. There are also a couple of scenes that are so bright that the picture totally washed out. I saw the movie in the theater and those scenes looked fine, so the problem was apparently caused by their camera. I hope Centropy gets back to the quality of their prior releases because I’m normally one of their biggest fans.

Smoking Crack

Whoever contributed to rating this above a 7 is smoking something. The picture had the telltale Telesync blue, it blew out to white in hot spots, the sync was off, and overall it was just a very mediocre copy. I wouldn't give it more than a 5. Don't waste your time on this one.

A little bright at times, blue tint throughout, otherwise its a pretty darn good release. The picture isn't blurry, and the sound is good enough. Its not beautiful, but definitely watchable. The rating of seven and a half is about right. Last thing, regarding the above posts, how can anyone take bootlegs so seriously? If you want drama watch a soap opera.
