The sample is as OUT-OF-FOCUS as the jpegs. What a waste. This group did a great job with ROAD TO PERDITION, but this release is more like HEY ARNOLD! THE MOVIE. Only worse, cuz I want to SEE this one.

Arggh. Gotta agree with the Hitman. Two middle fingers up.

agreed, quality on this one is disappointing.. very disappointing.

never mind was released quickly.... im sure a better quality release will come along.

pic 4 sound 4 movie - havent watched it all due to poor quality.

adjust the contrast/brightness on this release run a HQ smoother and demux the sound and runa de-noise filter with cooledit.. then remux and you have a watchable release

Has anyone actually watched CD1 or CD2 or is everyone just going by the sample. Sample seems a little blurry but the movie beyond the sample has decent sound and decent picture. I play this on a widescreen tv, through a dvd player with home theater system. Looks pretty good, defintley wouldn't judge this on the sample. Sample for some reason doesn't do this movie justice. Maybe they messed up and added the wrong encoded sample.Dunno.. But it looks pretty good here on my setup.

Personally, I don't see what is wrong with the quality of this release, it to me, seems like an average TS, nothing better, nothing worse. I don't see why all of the previous posts I have read about this release, except for storm's, have been all a bunch of complaining about this release. It is not a release to be complained about, it may not be the best TS, but you must take into account that this is a pre-theatre release. ty

Well to me it looks like the wrong sample was put up and the pre could have been messed up because those blurry pics on jpgs and the sample do not look like the rest of the movie. I would say the group may have made a error..Most of the times they will make a few different encodes of the movie with differnt filters and maybe this sample got mixed it somewhere along the line. Not like no other group ever fucked up before..But serioulsy I would ask people to check out at least CD1 and then judge..Maybe the group will resubmit their proper sample and the jpg can be redone. I think I will email them and find out if thats an options beacause those pictures do not do this movie justice.

Svenbob if you can do better please do. I look forward to seeing a release from you. Remeber this was a pre-theater release also.

here is another case of ftf syndrome, lets rush the release and get scummed the f*ck down. when will you groups ever learn. in the case of this particular movie, i have to say if you couldnt encode it to look any better, than u shoulda never released it. don't be afraid to say i got this, but it doesnt look right. i wont release this crap. im not scummin you down vcdistro i just think sometimes things like that piece of crap are better watched by you, alone, in a basement =P .

The quality sucked big time I downloaded the first cd thinking it was going to be better then the sample like people where saying. Bullshit its the samething I deleted the whole thing after watching 6mins this is not watchable at all its pure shit but thats just my opinion. I'm sure alot of people won't mind some people don't mind watching shitty ass copies I will wait for something else. Maybe the ftf version is better haven't seen it yet but looking foward to it.

Review based on full movie:

Video: using tv-out, it's semi-watchable but still blurry making things hard to see considering many things in this movie take place in the dark.

Sound: A little hollow but otherwise -ok-.

Movie: To be honest, I can't give this movie a decent review based on this telesync. It's video quality is too lacking. I'll wait to see the FTF.

Overall for the release: 4.5/10

Uhmm, I watched it and the Q was watchable. I did turn up the brightness on my TV to bring it to an acceptable level but its not the first release I've needed to do that for and probably not the last.
PS, cool movie and original concept, IMO.

missing minutes

Have any of you gone to the theater and seen this movie? I did and it was awsome on the big screen. S o I d/l it so I could watch it again. Boy was I p-oed to find that the 1st about 15 minutes of the movie were missing. You wouldn't notice unless you had seen the original. It has the opening credits and and title scene but in the theater the first scenes are of Quinn as a child visiting his mother where she is an engeneer working on a subway tunnel. Her mining crew are the ones who release the first dragon and everyone except Quinn are killed when the first dragon bust loose. Then there are some scenes showing how the dragons multiplied and distroyed most of the world.

Did I just get a bad copy and does the FTF version have these scenes? If not I quess I'll have to buy this one. it was too good not to have. Loved those dragons.
