All my movies are burned using "PC Club" generic CD-R, and generic DVD-R disks. They are played on a AVAYON DXP1000 xvid/svcd/vcd/blah blah blah blah player...

What strikes me a bit silly about this rls is that it was brought about because of sync problems - yet in the sample they have released there is no talking in it to compare the audio sync ?

Having checked through the cd's i can confirm that the parts that were out of sync on my previous copies are now okay!

Well done Cobra and thx 4 the effort put in - it may have took a while but i guess thats part of the learning process and its better than i could do. The more groups the better and i am guessing u learned a lot from this rls.


Cant say my video is any more different to other efforts.

How did the video quality go down from 7 in the first release to 5 for this release

im kinda new around here but not to the scene, dont know if this has been covered before around these parts but i find it hilarious how one group gets pissed when another group "steals" their release when its not even their movie to start with, makes them sound rather silly (to put it kindly) IMO

ok first off, i gave this group credit at the begining, i understand maybe you screw up, no ones perfect. but after a repack then another company trys to help out and in no way steals your video, they have labeled it as you guys and gave ALL credit to you in the NFO, but still screwed up then released ANOTHER copy and its very very bad. just give up, learn how to encode and fix your problems and compress the files before you release videos on the net.

Im going to have to agree with Neversoft on this one. Cobra really is doing a good job so far, even for a new-to-the-scene group. They did give us a good phantom of the opera a few weeks ago, if anyone remembers that, since FRA made an unwatchable version.

Have they stolen any releases like TUN, SG18, and the countless other groups out there have done? Nope..

Good job so far Cobra, spend some time around the ripping/encoding boards (videohelp) and in no time you'll be whizzes at this stuff.

have to agree with you on this one.as the saying goes "you learn by your mistakes" never a truer word said.

this release isnt the best but better than nothing.

Video - holy shit wtf did they do? A lot worse than their original. Lots of details lost on this one. And the contrast is so fucked up that where there is supposed to be "white", there's no detail at all.

Audio - it may be dts sourced but they should have normalized it. Too many times it goes up and down. No sync issues though.

Massive props to Cobra. Yes they did fuck up and they fucked even more by messing up the sync by resplittting the last release, but at least they are trying to rectify their mistakes. They have their own Cammer(s) and DTS source which puts them above alot of todays groups. They're new and they're trying, they may not be a VideoCD yet, but then 2 years ago VideoCD did not remotely have the respect in the scene that they have today, it comes with effort, which Cobra appear to be putting in.

Oh yeah,

6.5/9/? - Video appears slightly worse on this new encode although that is from sample on pc, rather than on TV. Sound spot on. Movie, not watched yet.

After reading the numerous "bashing" post, i almost deleted the whole thing but hey I had nothing else to watch. I figured if it was that bad, I would just turn it off and watch Wheel of Fortune. Anyways the movie was lame but the video/audio was watchable/hearable(?)..

Finally got the sound right but this is still shit , too dark (cant see scenes) , major motion blurness , blurry and grainy as hell , colors are washed , yet another silver to add to the pile already out there.

also missing the bottom half of the screen to get rid of the subtitles
