Good picture, Nice audio, In sync, Overrall a very good release.
Picture: 9.5
Audio: 9
.
V: 9 - Nice balance on color, brightness, and contrast. The picture seemed not quite as sharp in darker scenes but this may have been the way the movie was shot.
A: 9.5 - Excellent 2 channel stereo. I watched it on my standalone
Divx player and it sometimes sounded like it was surround sound.
M: 8 - Reminded me of "2001:A Space Odessy". A little confusing in parts. It might be worth a second viewing.
Been waiting for this, seemed to be taking forever to appear! Watched the CAM when it first came out & this is a good opportunity to give it a second watch.
v-9. Sharp, clear, no cropping. Good stuff.
a-9. Seemed like pretty nice stereo business to me. No problems.
m-7. Quite decent, but a bit confusing and unrealistic at times.
Overall a great rls though.
V: 9 although it looked like the credits were really pixilated looks like different source but i don't know what ever
A: 9 very crisp and clean.
M: 10 one of the best movies i have seen all year.

Really nice.

Video is clear and crisp with nice colours. Audio is crystal clear and at times (as someone else stated) almost sounds surround (no, I didn't have virtual on before someone asks).
Movie is about the best Science Fiction film I've seen in a long, long time. Adult and challenging sci-fi, brilliant.
Nice release
8/8/8
PS: Am I on drugs or did anyone else see faces for a couple of single frames when they enter the first ship?

Freeze-frame?
Why Does this Xvid version freeze about 5 times between 1h34'54 and 1h37'09 (during the shaking fight scene) the same as the Xvid-MoMo version - Is it supposed to? - Does it freeze-up on all versions?

Yeah i believe the freezing is an effect of the film, nothing wrong with the rip. I'm 99% certain on that...
Freeze-Frame?
Fixed it!!! - Though it took all bloody night - It just didn't do it for me with that freezing-up stuff.
I had to cut a total of 53 frames in 5 places to get it right - 154551 @ 25fps = 1:43.04 TRT. (pointless me doing ntsc as I live in pal land) - and remix the audio with wavelab 3.0 - NOT recomended for the feint of heart (I used MoMo's 2 disk xvid version though, for the better end creds compression & DD audio, same faults so prolly the same DVDr source).
V = 8.0 (good average 1cd, looses marks for over compressing the end creds, not that many will bother viewing them).
A = 8.0 (good average Vbr-Mp3)
M = 9.0 (Very good - entertaining - Awesome SFX - Sci-Fi space movies are a little thin on the ground lately, with the latest SFX-CGI available to hollywood lets hope for some more) (can't get my head 'round UK lottery funding a major hollywood blockbuster - see very end creds)
I always buy the retail when it comes out (months later in pal land of course), so I hope this freezing-up stuff ain't on the retail.

I just can't agree with previous quality comments, so much so I had to register...
Just about every scene in this movie is filmed in half darkness, the result means it's looks really poor compressed down into a 700mb release, I have seen it before in other films, you just can't take a 1:46 or so film full of dark scenes and compress the heck out of it, the end result looks like crap.
Video - 5
Audio - 8
Film - 7
Good enough flick, but I think I would have enjoyed it better had I got the full dvd version, it's a film that partly revolves around it's effects value, which is spoilt in a lesser rip.
