Gave that up after a lock-in in a pub in St Just in Cornwall 15 years ago rolled out at 5 in the morning after 15 pints of carlsberg export,never been so ill.Now I stop before the point of no return. Got a big thing for leffe now, really nice drink, no hangover if you get just a bit pissed.

Once every two months or so when I visit my mates in Ramsgate. I'll drink at least 10 pints of lager before moving onto shorts at around midnight and then knock those back religiously for the next two or three hours in some dive of a club.

I drink regularly during a normal week though and can occasionally go a bit mad and polish off a few bottles of wine or a few beers and half a bottle of whiskey. Depends on the sort of day I've had.

You sure ,I lived here 54 years and never heard of that, my father in law was a docker fo 40years and he's never heard of that either. Never seen a US rating that could drink,they has 4 or 5 pints of our English "warm beer" and their rat arsed.Come to that I never seen an English one that could drink either.Did see an American sailor drinking snakebite made from scrumpy and HSB once,did'nt keep it up for long.

Heh... I would say I'm about as close to becoming one as anyone can. I drink out of habit at the moment though, not out of necessity.

Having said that, even though I can go days without a drink... if I've had a shit day, the first thing I want to do is sink a few beers and then some but then don't most people? *looks around for validation*

My previously mentioned obsessive personality also has excessive tendancies. I don't do things by halves so drinking, working, playing poker, taking drugs... anything really... is taken to the limit which has nearly cost me my career a few times, has fucked up many relationships and has generally been a pain the ass for me.

I'm a lot better these days though having got kids but I do still slip now and then and over-induldge with alcohol (never when I'm "on-duty").

Tuesday night was fun.. about 6 or 7 pints (Couple of Coors, a Budweiser, a Strongbow for free cos I hate cider and the rest were Carlsbergs) and a good 12+ sambucas. Most of them in a row. Hit bed about 3am, up at 8.30am for work. Good times.

Not gonna do any banning (I'm not horny enough, I'm stuck at work) but we have a lot of members who are sceners or ex-sceners (like myself) who find it pretty fucking annoying when we see our hard work being flogged by some twat at a car boot/pub/work...
