Not keen on this. Looks cropped, or a real odd AR. Audio is a bit bleh and the video is chunkier than Russell Grant's left buttock.

i agree with mystic, just watched the sample with my tv out and it looks indeed cropped as hell, the quality is acceptable but for this movie i would've liked more, it opens thursday in our cinemas and i think i will just go for a visit cause this ain't worth it for an all action movie like this
audio isn't too fantastic either so well go find out on yourself if you want this or not, thanks for the job anywayz vcd

Video : Not too bad, from a distance or on a standalone, no noticeable watermarks or blurred serial number. Good colors and some motion blur, might affect the action scenes...

Audio : Sounds good to me, good job.

I didn't think the video was as bad as the .nfo led on. Nice effort VideoCD.

The AR is fine if viewed on Powerdvd, looks odd through WMP but WMP is crap anyway. .I don't understand why people are slating this.Picture is good possibly more pixelating in the film rather than the sample sound is perfect.Best Version up till now has been the centropy which pixelated like crazy in fast moving scenes,I'd place money that this will too but i have to say I'd choose this over CTP's.
I fell asleep during this movie so my review would only say that it bored me.Woke up to find them taking on the whole cuban army and thought i was watching a totally different film.
IMO grab this if the CTP annoyed.

I was just about to mention the same thing, the AR is like 2.43:1-2.66:1 instead of being closer to 2.35:1 so it's either cropped, squished or a combo of both (Viewed in PowerDVD). Video is also slightly blurry with artifacts, sound is audible but not as vibrant as some screeners. Decent at best, maybe a repack is coming? 6/7/8, even if it's free doesn't mean we shouldn't moan... I feel it helps some groups fix their problems and raise quality control, that's what seperates the good groups from the FTF's.

i have to admit, when i first saw the sample, i thought it was a TS also. A pretty nice one tho.

The video is great. nice colour, crisp, and yes, unfortunately squished or cropped.
The audio seems staticy a bit too (maybe wind noise?) but overall nice.

Judging from the sample, i would rate it:

Video: Grainy, widescreen, not bad, not great. 6

Audio: Fairly Clear, not too bad. 7

Movie: Heard it was pretty good, haven't watched it myself yet.

Video looked washed out, colorless, heavily pixelated, and audio is total crap. It's clear and you can hear everything, but it has a loud annoying buzzing sound beginning to end.

I just finish this and CD2 is on crack, audio gets all fucked up and static-kie. NUKE, I really do hope they repack or someone proper it. This was a decent movie and it deserves better.

its cropped? not too bad.. all the credits are still there.. unless its cropped vertically.. it does seem to have a wierd AR but fuck it.. its better then ctps version.. that one kinda blew ass. but damn a vcd.. i dun want a vcd of this.
