Lemme set somethin straight for u people.

1. This movie is nothing like Kung Pow. It is an effects laden sports comedy thats made more money in Hong Kong than any other. Just check the imdb rating. 7.7 is only a step below the top 250.

2. This is coming to American theaters early 2003.

3. Dont rush in saying this is a dupe. The American release is going to be different than the DVD. The american version has a dubbed audio and was re-edited.
*I havent Dl it so I am not sure if its the American version just saying that it could be.

if its subbed how can it be the new american print if thats dubbed?

i swear, if i see a theater playing this film dubbed, i'll burn it down. i watched this in original language, no subs, and i still enjoyed it. hate fuckin dubs.

it's getting dubbed for the US unfortunately, when it hits theatres. There is a string of movies coming out that are being dubbed because they are are "too effects laden" to be released with subtitles.

.....I still cant' believe that Brotherhood of the wolf is going to have a dubbed track on the dvd when it ships in the US.

Either way, this is one of the best movies around. WELL worth a download (if you don't already have the dvd). b

i used isonews cos its quick, and i knew its an older film so might not have been in our db, and i was too lazy to use something that requires logins or SSH entry

i could've edited out the isonews formatting, but why should i ? i wasn't trying to prove anything about me, simply stating a dvd rip of the film existed.

not a real worthy VCD release since it was released a while earlier, but At least it is out and maybe moving again, I loved this movie, It is a classic in my books. But a dupe or VCD release is not needed.

This group should have more attention on their releases! Why doing a TS when the DVD is already out?
if they want to get to be a good group they should start by doing new releases and not old ones.
This release should have been nuked and never enter vcdquality.

hmmm, I don't know if it should be nuked, because I am not a person who does that. As far as it not being on vcdquality, I think you are wrong. By having it here, it turns people onto one of the best movies of the past few years. Not everyone knows what this movie is, and maybe now someone wants to check it out.

It will be funny to see ts's of Formula 51 (51st state), AND "Eye See you, or D-tox" or whatever the hell they will call it in the US also, since that's out on dvd now too.

Actually, I have the rental grade DVD for 51st state, (real r2 dvd), but i'm not too sure if anyone did another screener of it after the first one was around.

...as for ChapDick 11 years old? probably younger than that, but really reminds me of 24_7..

some day, people like these flamers will realize that there is more to the world than "american" released movies (although most are dubs or remakes), and thier eyes will be open to some fantastic movies. Until then, they have one or 3 word vocabularies, constisting of the words "sh*t", crappy, and garbage.

....the scene would be better if it were not for retards who think that they know it all...

id like to say it must be a dupe and a half, i have the divx as well as having watched the retail dvd on numerous occasions. It is a bloody good film tho, and the speciall effects are kick ass especially towards the end. Id recomend it to anyone who isnt a brain dead "only hollwood will doo" cretin

Very weird to release a TS now.. Have also had the dvd rip for months now with subs. I just hate dubbed movies.. Stephen Chow is very funny is this movie great special effects and nice martial arts.. If you like these kind of movies, check out The God of Cookery with also Stephen Chow in it..

OMG, you guys are all gonna eat your words. I just saw the Chinese DVD this weekend and this movie blew me away. It's innovative, original, hilarious, and awesome. It has some Matrix-like special effects and the story is fun. It's become one of my favorite movies... believe you me, this AIN'T NO Kung Pao. Wait to see this in theaters, trust me, you won't want to ruin your experience watching any shitty version of this.
