it is amazing how peeps can post a comment about a movie that they thought came out earlier today well i viewed this it is not dark the audio is awesome and i will rate it based on actually watching it

audio definately direct = 9
the movie at best is a =7

as the one i have is cam.svcd

if not ....i have one question....why would they do 2 versions?

the cam i have is far better than hybro like i stated in hybro's version.

What the DEAR FUCK are you smoking man?

First off: the video is utter, UTTER SHIT.

Theyve used some sort of deghosting filter and totally fucked up the picture - too much white balance, and its got wierd trailers everytime a character movies.

Video Verdict: 3

Audio is clear, with a slight hiss. Not to bad overall, at least its direct.

Audio Verdict: 7

Movie: Teenage shite.

Movie Verdict: 4

VCDQ Mislabeled?

This is labeled a CAM on nforce, and it's also labeled a CAM from the scene, so I'm not sure what to say about VCDQ labeling it TS...

The Video is dark, but not major issue, i diden;t notice any flicker in the rars i watched, Sound is nice good quality. Not my type of flick so i won;t be watching this

Had a bit of sync issues on the first Cd, however it didnt last long at all, and the frame rate jerky picture that u notice on the first Cd seems to clear up alot on the second Cd.

Still a very watchable rls, dont let what i just said scare u off from it because actually neither issue i just stated is that extreme fortunatley in this case.

After comparing the two releases by prevail, the VCD and the SVCD I can conclude that they are the same video AND audio source, this copy is just the VCD made into a SVCD, no extra has been added, the sound is the same as the VCD, looks like we've been hoodwinked again folks...

shame realy cos now no group will release a good SVCD of this movie cos the "SCENE" rules dont allow it

(scene rules suck sometimes)

v5 blocky lines down screen, as seen in VCD to SVCD conversions
a7 same as VCD release, not direct
m6 kiddie horor, ie not very scary

Check it out , its even split at the half way point at exactly the same frame, it is the hydro release re-encoded to svcd trust me.

all i can say is after this yr i hope someone is gonna start enoding these svcd's no matter wat source it comes from to a better standard then wat it has been...this yr has had the crappiest of svcd's put out, and some of last yrs cams r even better

Guys if you so truely think these releases are shit, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE i beg of you to contribute a bit more than just flamming the groups who try and bring these movies to you free of charge, which as far as i can see is more than what you contribute. As far as the fool who thinks this is a reencode, all i have to say you is that you are a true idiot. Check the video again, it is quite different, and the audio IS in fact direct. Get a fucking clue and shut the fuck up.

Darks are dark, brights nearly whited-out. It's a cam, I've seen worse but I've also seen better. Most cams I watch on the PC, it's not worth wasting discs over them, so I'm glad it's SVCD. Movie is nothing special, just another cookie cutter PG-13 Horror.

As an aside, the first FOG ATTACKS scene on the seagrass boat is chock full of fingerprint dots. I've never seen that many lumped into one scene of a movie.

Video 6 - Not bad for a dark movie
Audio 6 - Also not bad, didn't miss any dialog
Movie 3 - This one made an audience assume alot and alot of read between the lines, the ending was.. well the ending... stupid... Was the fog after the girl, revenge or land? Who the heck knows or cares, its not worth the effort to debate or argue...

I was glad when it was over.... My exit review from the theater would have been "Can I get a refund??"

Not bad for a cam... middle fo the road, seen better and seen much worse...
