v: 9 better than the screener cause no b&w and no "property of" shit on the bottom.
a: 8
m: 8 loved it

Posted by Filthy_Rich on 11-11-2007 07:56 AM:

Screener is sharper and the colours are more vibrant.

V 8
A 8
M 8

Posted by ALteReD on 11-11-2007 07:58 AM:

Yeah copy is better than the screener but no need to boast like they do in the nfo. Thanks for the nice release CAMERA but your not as cool as you think you are. Just my opinion.

V :9
A: 7
M:10 (highly recommended if never seen it)

Posted by elislider on 11-11-2007 08:02 AM:

this has some seconds missing at 15:10. not sure how many (didnt compare to DVDSCR -FRAY), tho it just cuts to the next scene midsentence

Posted by joeso60 on 11-11-2007 08:31 AM:

ummm i do not see them boasting in the nfo??

nice rls though , ill stick with the scr

Posted by Cr-critic on 11-11-2007 08:41 AM:

V-9
A-9
M-9 very good flick

Posted by Xaphias on 11-11-2007 09:43 AM:

There are some missing scenes in this one, that are in the DVDscr, the scene with the cops and the storeowner is longer in the dvdscr, also, there seems like a scene missing in the middle where the sound goes slightly out of sync for a minute.

V=9
A=7
M=7

Posted by dj1978 on 11-11-2007 11:11 AM:

looks good to me better than the fray release.

V:9
A:9
M:9 very funny

FYI, this is shorter than the DVDScr because it appears that there are quite a few cuts in the R5.

R5 is probably theatrical and DVDScr is probably UNRATED

Otherwise, a nice release with good line audio

EDIT - not LINE audio - go with the DVDScr over this...

Posted by xplicit on 11-11-2007 11:41 AM:

finally someone added the audio from the dvdscr to the russian r5, well done lads for muxing and syncing ;-P

8/8/10

v - 9

m - 10

nice to have the whole screen, but yes, it is missing some footage. all in all, doesn't change the fact that this is one superbad flick

i dont think camera grasped the reason no other grp did this was because the r5 and the dvd scr had different scenes, hence the nice big nuke on this. Did they really think they was being 1337 ?

out.of.sync.for.15sec.at.41min.46sec

wait for retail next week no doubt. camera, may i suggest sticking to your shitty cams.

avoid

Expect the retail of this to come out soon. I have it already

Posted by shadowsniper on 11-11-2007 03:43 PM:

Passed on the DVDScr the other day as I knew this was coming - prefer to watch without the watermarks. Still haven't watched this flick as i gave up on the mvs TS.

From skimming through...

v-9; colours seem nice, generally as good as expected from a 1 CD R5
a-7; nice, clean & clear, taken from the DVDScr i guess? As noted, does go a little oos for a bit towards the middle though...
m-?; will watch tonight

Generally not a bad release but for the slight sync issues, i'll probably swap this for the R1 retail when it becomes available.

Posted by joeso60 on 11-11-2007 08:50 PM:

yea sync issues are not too bad this is because the audio comes from the uncut DVDSCR and the R5 is not the uncut one. some scenes are diffrent takes. this is why it is not possible to get a perfect sync using that audio from the SCR but its def good enough

Posted by elislider on 11-11-2007 09:11 PM:

Its not that the R5 is the cinematic and the DVDSCR is unrated or anything like that. This R5 actually has some scenes only 1/2 there. At 15:04 in this R5, the girl is talking and it cuts her in midsentence and jumps to the next scene (from the home-ec. classroom to the cafeteria). In the DVDSCR, the scene is full and continues as normal

as others have said, theres other missing scenes too apparently.

Posted by joeso60 on 11-11-2007 10:38 PM:

i hear what u r saying but it is not missing scenes , pieces of the audio from the uncut version are heard at the end of a few scenes.

the r5 is exactly what the theater copy looked like, the dvdscr has extended scenes, hense the sound cutting off and not matching exactly, if u compare the oos parts with the dvdscr u will see what i mean

Posted by moviegooroo on 11-11-2007 11:59 PM:

scenes missing compared to FRAY release in addition to clipped audio throughout. I would definitely rather have full sync'd audio and scenes with watermarks than this steaming pile. Just my 2 cents

V:8 (good with the exception of cut scenes)
A:8 (good with the exception of clipped audio)
M:9

V- 7
A- 7
M - 9

There are sync issues as mentioned and there are missing scenes. Look at 15min 02sec. On my copy it just cuts mid sentence and goes to something different.

First movie i downloaded and checked in awhile.

Someone teach this group how to sync and encode!

Multiple spots where video footage is missing for a few seconds, or audio goes out of sync.

Overall excellent quality just multiple encoding errors.

V - 6 (glitches and parts missing)
A - 6 (goes out of sync 10+ times)
M - 5.5 some funny parts but not my cup of tea

I didnt know that it was out so soon, thanks for the tip.

Superbad (Unrated Widescreen Edition) (2007)
Availability: This title will be released on December 4, 2007.

On that note, i havent been in the movie scene for a few years now, did the rules get changed cause i thought anything less then 30 days from retail was an auto nuke?

Think that only related to cams, That would be a daft rule if it applied to DVDSCR,TC,R5 etc

Goes out of sync for about five or seven seconds at almost half way through the film. Almost like the DVDSCR in the same position that it did with the authoring software. It is like there are two files and the audio compensates... Did also notice the scene where they are in home ec and then before the scene finishes, it jumps to when the two kids are eating lunch. Really weird I guess, doesn't bothwe me. I feel cool that I even noticed it, lol...
