Posted by dragon26 on 02-21-2008 11:15 AM:

well the audio on the source does have sync issues maybe they didnt check this before hand, yes the source does have 5.1 english.

Posted by Forsaken on 02-21-2008 01:26 PM:

a: 6.5 - good sound but definate sync issues.
v: 8
m: 5 - liked the gore...that's it

edit: actually the sound was pretty bad... the rain in the movie (LOTs of it) is so loud you can't hear what people are saying most of the time

Unhappy

v - 8
a - 6
m - ?

No problem with the Video but the Audio is not good at all .... it seems to sound as though it switches between 'cam' and 'direct' continuously, making it very shit to listen too I didnt get far enough into the movie to see the sync issues ... hope there's a 'Proper' out soon.

Posted by Marco5 on 02-22-2008 01:22 AM:

Bad audio, definitely needs a proper. It's very hard to listen to it in quality headphones. It kind of fades in and out constantly.

Watched this on the big-screen downstairs, very watchable. Audio wasn't very high quality, doesn't seem to have been downsampled very well (or whatever it was they did to it, they didn't do a very good job).

The audio did slip out of sync every now and then, but didn't stay that way, it would snap back in after only a few seconds, and remain that way for several minutes before slipping out again. I streamed it rather than burned it, maybe that makes a difference.

The movie itself was okay. Seemed almost like a workprint, some of the VFX didn't seem to be quite finished, but maybe it takes a trained eye to spot the problems, I dunno. I hadn't seen the film before, so I don't know if those problems were in the final release or not. That's an issue with the source print, however, and not the release.

All in all, worth the download if you haven't seen the film before, but should hold out for a full HD or DVDRIP if you're wanting a permanent solution.

As has been mentioned, if you listen to this with headphones, the audio issues are glaring. The left and right ears keep going in and out.

Considering that this is a very heroic/'big sound' type of movie the audio issues almost make it unwatchable.

If you care about audio, definitely, wait for a better release.

The content was... not too bad. It has a little bit of that crazy Thai stunt man feeling that you get from films like Ong Bak (and similar lack of plot). As far as carnage movies go, it's a far cry from 300, but, at the same time, it gets your heart pumping.

Wait for a PROPER. Wasting you time getting this release.Out of sync and bad audio.

I agree on the audio
I'm not even sure it is a real DD5.1 track.
It is even lacking bass. Might just be a stereo --> pseudo DD5.1 conversion

the proper uses same canned audio so pointless really

infact running thru it again it is possibly worse

Posted by A_T on 02-22-2008 08:50 PM:

Audio on the ENABLE release is as bad as this one. Clearly neither are taken from an authentic DVD source. Runtime seems suspiciously short too.

Posted by pomh on 02-23-2008 02:13 AM:

near the end, badly out of sync... nice video, workprint definitely has better audio... my bad, the whole fucking movie's out of sync...
