well considering the early KSi stuff was released with the wrong audio bitrate, someone did something wrong at some point

i'm just relieved i don't have to see any more pre's of this film now

Posted by pHo on 07-11-2004 04:20 AM:

this film shows you exactly whats wrong with the scene now. i could probably get the source myself as it seems everyone has it....

well i made my own real proper proper proper...heheh

got the xvid one, extracted audio to wav, loaded avi and wav into tmpgenc and fixed it so the source range was same as cd3 as the nuked svcd release...used the audio gap setting and audio is matched up perfect...took me less than 5 min

then converted to svcd and im good to go

funny how groups couldnt do this themselves...not that hard really

finally get to watch the end of this movie...hehe

Why don't you pHo release a Man.On.Fire.REAL.REAL.PROPER.PROPER.SVCD-pHo

Hopefully you can do a better job than the rest. Have been wanting to see this but the TS's didn't look to good. When the DVDSCR popped up I was like finally I can watch it then we got nuke after nuke. Don't groups check there releases before releasing them, they should get themselves a quality control department.

heh, i'm intrigued as to why this has been fucked up so many times. is there something "odd" with the dvd or something? seriously, a 145min film onto 3cds without sync problems or interlace probs isn't hard... in all honesty, just skip the screener now. i think everyones sick to death of having their screen full of the damn things when you log in

Yeah I'm leaning to there's something wrong with the dvd. I didn't see this release but you guys are saying that it's out of sync towards the end of cd2 and all of cd3? That's the same as the ALLIANCE release.

I really wanted to see this movie. Never got a chance to see it at the theater. The TS was shit so I didn't watch it. I said fuck it, downloaded teh ALLIANCE release and delt with the out of sync. Movie was really good so it was worth it.

Posted by iGotLaid_off on 07-13-2004 07:22 AM:

plz no more rls of this till retail

RIP thx

Posted by eighty5 on 07-13-2004 11:26 PM:

There is nothing wrong with the dvd, its just whoever ripped it first screwed it up, and then all these other groups downloaded it and tried fixing it or thinking re-encoding it would fix it, but it didnt.

Using the same source, will NOT fix your offsync problems when your using a shitty off-sync source.

Its like downloading an mp3 from kazaa at 96kbit, and thinking that re-encoding it and changing the kbit to 192 will make it sound better, it doesnt work.

So, after KSi ripped it, why didnt they open cd3, and see if it was offsync? Oh because that takes a whole what, like 30 seconds to check, would have saved someone some bandwidth and a nuke, but your too lazy to check it, and instead would like us to be pissed off at another shit release, and waste our time, because you guys didnt test your own shit.

Im really starting to hate the scene.

Posted by alep85 on 07-14-2004 07:58 AM:

God dammit! Don't these guys ever actually FIX what was wrong with the movie?! When are we gonna see a decent release of this movie without having to grab an editor and do it ourselves! LOL!

Posted by mod[e] on 07-20-2004 07:19 PM:

grab the dvp's release and join them together and encode it w/ cce and voila u got a nice man on fire release w/o out of sync issues =)
