Pretty good Copy compairing it to past -Pv Screeners , usually they use that 9th gen .. looks like CAM screeners but this looks more like a Wastedtime Screener.
Fullscreen , bottom right theres like glitchin in the corner but not highly noticeable, top part of the screen you got blue and red color bars along the top edge of the picture. Colors are washed and this is grainy like most VHS Screeners are. Sound is suprisinly good for a Screener.
From the sample i didnt notice any black or white scene changes or scrolling text saying "property of blah blah" , but i assume like all Pv screeners there will be scrolling text , also no counter or timmer noticed.
For First online copy , very watchable and sounds great.
Props Pv
7/9/?

crap, this means i'll have to watch this train wreck of a movie. most pointless production ever made, forged by one of hollywoods' most untalented directors.. i'm sure it'll be a blast

<Dwaggy> i caught you a delicious Bass
<The404> This is because you are an idiot
watched some rars near the beginning, it looks like an average screener...bleeding colors, vhs like all in all hope it clears up towards the end, been waiting for this, but as a VHS SCr ill give this... 6/8/??? based on rars hit you back up tomorrow...
either way ive been wanting this, it seemed like a good movie outta the maybe 8 over the past 5 months
::edit:: started movie 2 times, was 2 drunk and passed out, just gotta point out, outta irony, VHSSCR has no B/W SCENES? lmfao and even worse this one does lmfao
::final:: ok after full watch it has its problems but i wanted to watch this... as a scr its decent, just annoying with the bad video output onto the file. it doesnt appear to me to be that many generations out, just a bad line to the bootleg machines... decent movie... its got its highs, and hell its history not a fake production... so this gets a 6/8/8
Hey now,
Just got done watchin CD 1, and this is a multi-generation vhs screener. Meaning a copy of a copy, etc. The video flickers at time, which is cause by it being a multi-generation copy and the vcr that was used to cap it. There is some color lost and rainbows throughout cd 1.
There is a full-screen watermark every 10 minutes or so, maybe longer. The watermark takes up the whole screen for about 10 seconds. Propety of blah, blah, if you rented or bought this movie contact 1-800 blow me mpaa. (Not those words, but close).
The audio is fine.
Overall, this is the best copy that is out and is very watchable.
EDIT: Just watched CD 2, and basically the same thing. After each watermark with a ID number blurred out in the top right hand corner, there was B&W scene for 5-6 seconds following watermark.
About 8 minutes into CD 2, the vcr starts to act up, its still watchable. This last about 1 minutes.
Based on a vhs screener:

And it appears Burt Reynolds has changed his name to Turd Furgeson.
That's right, it's a funny name
It's watchable, just looks like an old old video tape, typical color wash, lines at the top.

retail release of the DVD is in sept... i think I'll wait for the
DVD-R or SVCD rip. Watched a bit of disc 1 and for showing up
this late in the game... leaves a bit to be desired.
I'd say 6/7/8 for this rls. The movie was good imo.

Whats up with it why does it flicker IF it didnt do that it would be an awsome copy anyone have one that doesnt flicker!
?
it should probably be noted, as well, that there are some 'tape' issues just before the 9:00 mark on CD2.
the light flicker issue is only noticeable for the opening credits. the full screen watermark is rather annoying at times, when its present, but the b/w screen following isn't so much.
i was looking forward to this film, but it never saw a release in my area, so i'm glad this came out of nowhere. film doesn't disappoint (unless you're a skater; or unless you're a huge fan of the z-boys documentary that was released a while back).
7/8/8
Just My Two Cents...
Short and sweet
Audio - 7 (maybe a 6) - Audio was decent enough. Everyone was understandable but still, not great
Video - 3 - Horrendous. The thing flickers all through it, there is a freaking warning that takes up the whole screen like 9-10 times and b&w scenes. The jumping just absolutely grated on my nerves
Movie - 7 - Movie was pretty good and I feel that it would have been better if I wasn't aggravated to hell and back with the flickering.
Let met state also that i'm not bitching at the group, just stating facts. I didn't get a local release of this and hate it took this long to get a release of it so I could see this movie. Good job on releasing it guys just wish it was better quality.
ok.. i got bored and didn't feel like waiting for the DVD release...
Video was washed out, jumpy and as mentioned there were
some tape issues. The video quality looks a lot more like what
one would expect from a cam, not a screener - even a vhs one.
audio is good.
movie was ok.. the documentry it was based on was great. they could have done a lot more with the movie then they did. Best
performance was from Heath Ledger -- reminded me a lot of val kilmer in the doors.

screener at best, but the best release of this film so far so props. not bad, but feels like a really nice cam as apposed to a screener.
video 6.0
audio 6.0
movie 7.0 interesting, and if i were growing up in the 80's more like something i would be interested in.
movie rocked this is ok quality but not the best 6/5/8
6/6/7
flickering is a little annoying, watchable though if you must.
