First time poster, 10000+ time reader.

I was excited to see this re-release by FTF
I was disapointed at the sound (hissing gets annoying)
and I only am judgin but what I have seen with CD1 but
i don't even think I will bother with CD2. Not much
improvement over the previous FTF release...still pre + same day
releases still pwn! Keep up thw good work and hopefully
improve quality! (pal instead of ntsc to stop the flickering
maybe)

Videos usual FTF, grey/blue hue. Nothing spectacluar, but watchable.

Audio has an annoying buzzing in the background, which is annoying at first, but i guess you might get used to it.

If it weren't for that buzzing noise, this release would've been up there with their Red Dragon release. Filters can reduce it but can't get rid of it.

Maybe another group will multiplex the video from this one with the audio from the last and release a KICKASS PROPER lol. (not mentioning any names...)

I just watched this movie and i must say, video was really good... especially for an ftf release! But that darn hissing in the audio really annoyed my dog who was right next to the TV (hehe). It's watchable tho, so have phun!

I agree...What was FTF thinking......aren't you suppost to make a proper with more color and fix the sound.....Man please it's nice to get the movies but you need to do something with the sound..please...

any1 know how to reduce the hiss in the background? i.e. what program to use etc... please let me know if u know, thnx ALOT!

Cool Edit Pro 2.0 has a Hiss reduction filter that works wonders

Haven't got a chance to finish getting cd1 but if there is a hissing turn your treble down and your bass up...9/10 times will kill it.
if not get an audio editing program find a part in the movie that has NO SOUND EXCEPT THE HISSING, and you'll see how much you'll need to cut up to remove it, is easier than it sounds.

i was excited when i saw the video was decent, good enough to watch but the sound is too shitty for me

i was thinking of a program where i can just run the mpg or whatever through and it would take of the hiss, something like TMPGEnc? o and how i can use that program to do it?

video is ok, like a 6/10
but audio is crap, 3/10
and its not hiss, hiss filters, or turning down the treble won't work,
its in the midrange, like 3-6khz, taking it out completely would
fuck up other parts of the audio.
it sounds more like the headphone jack wasn't plugged in all the way, although its not a TS, obvious by the nice wind-break 8-seconds into cd1.
...I'm sure if you fucked around long enough you could get the audio sounding better, but in the time it takes you to do that, someone else will probably release a real TS.

Hmmm, the hiss reduction did it for me, if anything it might have come out with that hollow CAM sound a bit but I can handle that.

excellent movie! a 10!

i use cool edit pro for audio filtering, i've found that using a 30 band graphic eq worked best for me, and i use tmpgenc for video filtering which ive had some luck with, if anyone knows of a better video filtering tool please let me know.

Just get the screener when it comes out soon. Screeners typically come out a few months after the movie so it should be out soon.
