I have the pilot (I think it's the pilot). But I have yet to watch it.

I am gonna watch it now.

First thoughts after the trailer, looks very good but I don't like the look of the cast. They look too groomed with conventional good looks. Really good shows don't need model/actors to carry it.

Caught the trailer and leeching the episode. Looks like a good premise. Everyone wants super powers after all. Hope they pull the show together and make it work.

Watched eps 1 and 2 earlier - Not bad but not fantastic either. I liked it, its fairly quirky and its managed to pull me in. I'm ranking it alongside Bones and Supernatural which are two other shows that whilst not getting a hard-on for, I do enjoy watching em and take time to download each week... Therefore, this is added to my (ever growing) list of downloads although its not on the "Watch immediately" list like Lost and BSG are

I can't get into BSG at all, I have tried watched different eps, and also tried to watch the mini-series, I have the mini-series on dvd. I can't do it. My friend loves that fucking show.

So far the only show this season that is getting my attention is Heroes. Still not exactly sure where the show is going, but I want to find out.

The 4400 started dropping off with season 2, So I don't think I will watch it at all now. So now it's just Heroes.

Another good episode, made all the better by more Ali in skimpies...why the heck she's ever wore clothes in anything she's appeared in is beyond me! Time for some some villains and plot line to make themselves apparent, the players have been identified and we know where their lives are at, episode 5 needs to get going with the rest of what's happening.

I have to confess, the first two episodes had me thinking this show was "ok" and worth the download but now it's starting to get me hooked. Also, it's pretty obvious that the Jap guy was from waaaaaay into the future considering he was dressed like Neo, carrying a sword and had a stupid-looking beard

This ep tonight was OK. What secret was revealed? That's all I heard on the tv spots, A secret will be revealed. This ep seemed to be a filler ep.

***SPOILERS Ep.5***

Maybe the secret was about Ali's husband being alive and well...though not really a 'secret' in the context of the episode as the police were out in force to announce it.

Starting to come together, the characters are all hooking up. Just the cop and the cheerleader yet to make any connections, though the cheerleader is about to get a visit.

What happened to the serial killer? Seems to have disappeared from the storyline. (I did think initially that it was the cheerleader's dad responsible for the murders, but seems less likely now: he'll probably turn out to be affiliated to some shadow dark ops organisation (that was somehow involved in creating the abilities...maybe?))

Just thought whilst typing: the 'secret' may be that the mutant power serial killer is on the trail of the cheerleader: why else would she need saving? She's indestructible otherwise!

One guess I had about Claire (the cheerleader) having to be saved is from the serial killer. Remember, this person (guy?) has unbeleiveable powers as well, so it's quite possible he could kill Claire who technically is "unkillable".

Who else besides me thought Nathan's sonic boom was cool as fuck. Damn lol.

Definitely had it on target about Peter taking on the others abilities/powers whenever he's near them as we saw with him finishing Isaac's painting.

Too bad the quarterback did die when Claire drove is Camero into that wall. But what exactly does that black guy with her father do? Erase memories? Or is there more to it?

Heroes S1E06, a filler episode. Not much happens, the story slips into first gear. Ho hum, always happens with these US series that are sold into production on the strength of 2 or 3 written episodes (and then the writers realise they have to fill another 15 hours of airtime without an idea between them).

Will the cheerleader ever need saving? Will the telepathic cop ever return? Who the fuck was Saviour...er...Styler...or was it Soiler...you know, that character that's never been seen and appears now to be a total red herring having not been mentioned in 2 episodes...

Let's hope it gets back on track soon.

I'm guessing that Syler is that blonde slut who also rips people apart... Either that or somebody is "collecting" super powers as Syler appears to have several different powers.

A mate reckons that if you look closely in the episode where the telepathic cop saves the FBI chick from Syler that you can see Syler's shoes...and they're a pair of women's heels - I haven't bothered to watch it to confirm, maybe someone a little less apathetic than I could confirm? He reckons it's the redheaded bint that was leading the investigation into Syler in that episode for some reason or other that I don't recall.

I think Syler, and Peter are key. There powers are similar, One absorbs through murder, and the other absorbs through touch or so. I can't wait for the confrontation between them.

last ep was cool.

Especially liked the bit with the hot cheerleader getting incinerated then regenerating. The history between her dad and Sulu was interesting too.

Nice.

Liked the way the show pulled a very few characters into their own "special", took the story way, way forward...and still gave us plenty of background. A damn fine piece of writing. (Hope the saps who bored me silly during the 'background' stories in s1 of Lost were watching!)

PS: Tv.com trivia: the nuke-em-high man (Ted) and Claire's geriatric looking mom are real life husband and wife. (And yeah, she may be pushing 70 but I know you all were hoping for a nipslip when we got the down blouse )

So what did you guys think of the finale? I am for some reason having mixed emotions about it.

It was an exciting ep for sure. The show made us think outside the box, and in the end it's rather straight foward. I like that.

I was just hoping crybaby sylar would have gotten a critical beatdown. Nikki could have kicked his ass, All the cast could have beat the shit out of him

The ending of the show was kind of sad, but left you feeling good.

All in all a fantastic ep, Sylar didn't get a critical beatdown before he was finished.

Anyone get who the real bad guy is? Remember what Molly said?

As many questions that were answered in the past few eps, We still have many questions left unanswered, With the glimpse into volume 2, I think they will give us much more background.

The more I think about it, I truely liked this ep.


It's almost like the beginning is the end, with this series. Well maybe, We'll find out.

I thought it was a nice touch that his brother took him away.Pretty unexpected.
I also think Sylar could have put up a bit more of a fight.
I did really like the episode but I suppose they could have done a little more with the final scene.They should have made the episode a bit longer too which i thought they were going to.

Bit disappointed here too. Where was all the shock and awe? Could have had a huge telekinetic battle between Peter and Sylar, busses and cars flying about and shit.

The sixth sense parody "When I think about him, he can see me", was a nice touch. Its got to be someone new we haven't seen yet, maybe another Pitrelli.

Great series but needed some full on Matrix bollox for the finale.

Also, when did Nathan get super hearing powers? He heard what Claire said from about a mile away and she was only whispering. "Tell me theres another way"

Quite a few flaws (some of them pointed out above), but what a kickass series! And it kept moving forward and none of the bullshit that those Lost cunts kept chucking in - only watched S1, so don't know if they're still doing it, but I'd be surprised if all the weirdness was ever satisfactorily explained or if every other episode wasn't still sandwich filler bullshit.

Better still, Hiro in medieval Nippon! I'm well into my samurai movies and love that feudal bushido material. Can't wait for Volume 2

I only started watching heroes about three weeks ago, grabbed the entire first season and watched it (I don't know why the hell I waited so long for this fantastic show).

New season is okay so far but after watching the entire first season with episodes back to back waiting every week is killing me

The first 3 eps I thought were pretty decent. Wasn't getting my attention to well. I was enjoying Chuck more. Well that finally fucking changed. Heroes is back in my #1 spot.

The 4th ep that aired on Oct. 15 was fan-fucking-tastic.

I still think it's weak to bring Sylar back in. I know the death was 'is he, isn’t he?' in season 1, but they should have moved on in the new season.

The newest characters will now have to share screen time with Sylar, which is a shame. The story around him built and then came to a natural conclusion in S1. Season 2 should do this around the new characters, with their interaction with the older ones.

The only remedy now that Sylar is in the show is to take his 'evil' character completely the other way to provide a bit of interest in it, but having created such a persona in the first season it’s pretty much impossible to see it any other way.

Show is still awesome, and I'm sure there is a twist down the line, but no need to rehash old plot lines.

It would be interesting if he spends the whole season with no powers. Then at the end of this season he regains all his old powers plus the one from this seasons 'baddy'. It would offer up the opportunity for the inevitable movie to be based around Sylar and his battle with the other Heroes.

Last nights ep, Ep 5 good, really good, then what the fuck is going on! It was fucking awesome.

I agree about Sylar, I do think they may change his character a bit. We'll have to wait and see.

HIRO WAS IN JAPAN WAY TOO LONG Hiro's (Masi Oka) time-bending adventure in 17th-century Japan — where he mentored samurai hero Takezo Kensei (David Anders) — finally came to an end on Nov. 5. But Kring says it ''should have [lasted] three episodes. We didn't give the audience enough story to justify the time we allotted it.''

That should have been done ages ago. Nothing happened, and was pointless. Yeah Kenzo is Adam, Establish that 4 eps ago, and we could have had more progress, So yeah so far the show is progressing rather nicely, but certain things should have been different and it would have sped up the process a little. So in some ways Kring is right.

I watched an ep of Jay Leno last night and it was from '94, lol. Sucks.

So far this season of Heroes has been really awesome. Good thing they didn't drag this chapter along like so many shows do. I think a couple chapters a season is a good idea.

I doubt the show will be back on in January though. I expect late Feb. or March. Then finish the season off in one shot. I'm cool with that.

I never saw "Heroes" until a week ago visiting a friend. It looked...speical...and sort of like a mix between series, but after reading alot about it and seeing as how much most people say it's awsome, I'm gonna give it a shot, i'm more of a Bones fan myself though.

up to #9 now. hasn't been too terrible, but not as good as everyone has made it out to be. i think sylar has the right idea, but a bad haircut. just when you think he's finally gonna win that peter guy fucks the shit up. i think sylar's the good guy but you won't know it until like the end of the series or something.in any event, the cgi has been much better than i anticipated and that's always something.

I loved the first series but to be honest not sure about this third series at all.

It's all over the place in these first two episodes.

Personally think the writers are trying to be too clever.
Justifying their strike no doubt.

Maybe it'll pick up and i hope it does but at the moment it's a head fuck.

I liked the new eps, I'm just happy it's back on I love heroes (and I want them to keep bringing back George Takei, he needs to be in everything).

I was into the second season until the rush hack job of the last few eps, left me disappointed. Hopefully we'll actually get a full season this time around and it will be as tastey as the first.

Heroes is one of maybe three shows that I'm actually happy/anxious to see week to week.

Well i was going to wait til the season finished but couldn't.

There is a lot going on this season but I am really liking it.
Ep 4 was another belter.

Just wish it was on more than once a week.

I watched episode 2 shown on bbc 2 last wednesday. Ali Larter is back but not as Nikki Sanders? She's supposed to be another whole new character that just happens to look exactly like Nikki and also have powers? WTF???!?!

Maybe they work this out better in future episodes but it seems like total BS to me.

Didn't the guy she meet tell her she was one of three identical triplets.

Don't remember if he said as much but wouldn't the triplets be Nikki and Jessica plus this new character Tracy?

yeah this season of Heroes is confusing.

I though Sylar had the ability to hear really well.Didn't he take that ability in the first season?

I just thought it was a bit strange when Noah was saying to kill Sylar to that vortex guy and Sylar was looking at him trying to hear him.

the one thing that bothered me last ep was that Sylar couldn't hear what Noah was talking about to the worm hole guy.

One of the first powers Sylar takes in Season 1 is Super-Hearing....

Yet again another fucking awesome episode.
