from sample movie looks fine what are these dickwads on about i see no artifacts what so ever
edit
well it seams sample is not same scorce as main movie
Will stick with the TC until retail, looks nice a release anyway
looks like TC for me... but nice.. anyway better than old bfm tc rls
Well I think it's Pretty damn good. I thought the TC sucked balls personally so I'm glad this is finally up.
Still a while till the retail aswell. Good Work
This might be a TC, its not easy to tell, and if it was, then it far better than a DVD-Screener anyway, as the quality would be about the same, but it would probably have Watermarks.
The colours do look a little off though, and it could be sharper, but it better than the last release.
I have about a dozen Retail DVD's that have dirt and Burns on them, so why not this, Screeners are usually not mastered to as High Quality as Retail DVD's anyway.
8/7/6
Just checked sample and scanned through the movie, and it sure looks the same to me.
Can't say if it's a really good TC or a bad DVD rip... sometimes it looks good, other times you get those bluish-greyish blacks that normally go with TCs :/
Either way I'll watch it I think.
Edit: Shocking revelation! Look at approx 55:42 into the movie, where the scene changes from Blade holding a baby to the next one - there is a very visible cigarette burn in the top right corner. And since I'm pretty sure cigarette burns only are for cinema reels, this must be a very good TC: nuke should stand.
6.5/8/4.5
just watched sample and seems a little bright in the office scene saying that by far best version of this movie have seen to date
8/8/7
Definately not a TC. Download the DVDR version and you will see the entry screens etc.
9/10/?
have to agree on this one. stick to the telecine. its flawless and as good as it gets till retail.

As you can see on the screenshots, the quality of the wrong labeled "DVDSCR" is by far better. Nuke the "DVDSCR" for the mentioned reason, it won't change the fact that the "DVDSCR" is first choice... stupid rules
Yeah I think the previous user nailed it. Its either a good TC, or a Really Bad DVDSCR, because the quality is pretty bad for a DVDSCR. Blurry grainy and washed out. And yeah, cig burns.
so from the fact that noone can decide if this is a tc or dvdscr, there must be NO b&w or property of... problems in this?
also, remember sky captain dvdscr? compared to final dvdrip, sky captains dvdscr looked like a tc too (it was way lower quality than the rip, the colours were also very washed out...)
Why is there an argument? an unwatermarked DVDSCR with cig burns doesnt even make sense, its obviously a TC. The quality is higher probably because its a different source.

i just downloaded the first rar to check quality, and yeah, this is definately a tc, NOT dvdscr...im not going to bother with this... just wait for the REAL dvdscr, or just the actual dvdrip to come out...
I wasn't aware you could preview rars from avi's, unless im missing something.

this is def a tc no doubt about that - did they really think no1 wud notice?
still give it 7/9/7
as far as im aware, to preview xvids from rars, u need the first file in the rar set (generally the .rar file) - i dont think vlc lets you directly drag and drop rar, .r01, r02... files into it, so i think you need to extract what you can, tick the option to not delete incomplete files, then run it in either vlc or avipreview - i do this a lot to check quality if im either too lazy to download the sample, or if there isn't one to download...
I downloaded the entire thing, and it's 100% sure a TC. It has Cig-burns and artifacts and the color is washed out compared to a DVD-Rip. If this is a DVD-Screener, I'm the Easterbunny.
Why this hasn't been nuked for being mislabeled really is beyond me...
You can open .rar with VLC.
for xvid? news to me. i just tried and doesn't work, so i must have a very out dated copy of vlc
Thats what i meant, with VCD/SVCD/DVD you can open individual rars, but with avi's its different, it has to be complete for it to be viewed, and i have tried it myself many times.
and as i said, for svcd you can just drop any rar into vlc, BUT FOR XVID YOU DONT NEED THE WHOLE SET, all you need is the FIRST RAR in the set, but vlc wont let you drop the individual rar file, you need to extract with winrar, HOWEVER you must click the option not to delete incomplete files, winrar will start to unpack, but then it'll realise that not all files are there, and abort. if you tick the dont delete option, then youll be left with a partial file that vlc CAN READ. give it a shot but it'll only work if you have the first file in the rar set, so if you have *.rar, and 00, 01, 02, 05... it'll unpack the movie up till 02, and you can preview that, got it?
Cheers for that chiv, worked great, didn't read your earlier post properly.
Nice to learn something new, gives me a few more options for checking out XVID's.
