Ugh, VERY bad quality. Video is extremely washed out. Come on NBP, if your gonna release something thats allready been released several times, and have the nerve to call it a REAL PROPER, at least release something decent. Sound is fine, as in all the TS releases of this movie.

I strongly suggest not wasting your time on this crap.

Not seen any of the others (and no plans to either) but this should've been .INT. its pretty naff. Sound is fine, colour seperation is awful. If any of my procams produced an image that bad, it'd be taken back and demanded a full refund. But then again, with the fact you can now get a 3CCD cam for about $800 it says a lot. 3CCD isn't the only thing worth noting it'll just increase colour seperation (whilst lowering your lux count), if you have no manual control (and just as importantly, someone who knows how to use it) you'll get a bad picture.

The picture wasnt that bad to be honest on this movie , only major issue i have with this is everything is BLUE!!! , reminds me of Centropy TELESYNC's 2 years ago, remember bad boys 2 was blue

Get rid of the blue and this wouldnt be a bad TS , they said what was wrong in their nfo with their release but yet no proper reason ?

This shoulda been iNTERNAL as it was blue and as they mentioned in their nfo all the flaws.

- blue + faster ts's .... will be much better

FIRST : This as not been shooted with a 3CCD camera.
SECOND : This is pure garbage encode its NOT 5 pass CCE.
THIRD : not only the camera is not setup right, but its super croped, and its over blue, white balance is totaly off, the colors umm there is no colors rofl ... and what else ...

so, as final word, if you guys tough that doing a home made telesync was easy, then think again.

in other word, good efforth but stop wasting your time.
and this is not even worth a vcd. and start learning to encode

Look Corba's release should have been nuked, plain and simple.

I personally spent the time to demux, convert the Mp3 audio track to SVCD compliant MPEG layer 2 audio with BeSweet, remux and get a good SVCD image for all three discs from VCDEasy (Womble reported a pantload of errors when I ran AVSEQ01.DAT through it from the original disc image BTW).
The movie sucked but my GF insisted I fix it.

Cobra's release wouldn't even play on an AMW V101 which is known for it's abilites to play the lid from a can of kitty meat.
So let's stop kidding ourselves.

Ok first off the blue tint is a major issue with everyone..but no one thought to mention that the video quality is definitely top notch though....very clear and crisp..just blue...

This can easily be fixed with tmpgenc converter and will look 10x better...

Video - I actually like their attempt at a homemade TS. The picture itself looks good. But there is a blue tint and has that B & W picture feel to it. Only colors you see are really bright like yellow, red, pink, etc.

Audio - seems in sync, pretty good. Nothing else really to note.

I did watch the cobra rls and as said earlier that should've been nuked for having mp3 as their audio. Had to do some audio editing to get it right.

blurry, washed, and blue, tilt, COBRA's release was completly fine, this is not a proper, it is crap,. although i did see vxr's internal rls and that has been the best I've seen out so far so if you can find that one grab it, if not, go with COBRA

Tried to watch but no go. The Audio is nice but the Video is horrible. Blue everywhere! Hehehe. Good Try NBP but NO Cigar. My girl REALLY wants to see this flick so I think imma try BLUE-NEO's TMPGEnc tips and see if I can fix this Video to watchable. Better Luck next time NBP

Nice Comparision. Not much more to be said. Other than i give PROPS to NBP for trying to make a homemade SVCD TS. Yeah its bluish and the colors are washed. Sound is fine and i like the film. Overall, i really found it to be better once it was touched up a bit and certainly better than the other major releases of this film. However, I think i may just give up for now and wait for a SCREENER to pre Keep on trying NBP. Practice makes Perfect. Def should have been INTERNAL but once again atleast u are trying

I agree, much props to NBP. I look forward to seeing many more of their releases. As stated over and over, much better than all the rest, especially if you do the tmpenc fix. I also wanna thank people like BLUE-NEO for trying to help everyone else out. I think that is what this forum needs, more people to rate and help, and less people to rag and criticize.

Guessing by the fact its not nuked yet not very many.
Nobody has yet mentioned that half way through cd2 the sound goes out of SYNC for the rest of the film.

As for 2.2 and most of the comments on the video quality well i have been downloading for years and this rls is not as bad video wise as u all making out. Its perfectly watchable and is no worse than the cobra version but this has no subs also its defo no worse than that pitch black proper rls of a few weeks back...

The only thing that lets this down is the out of sync in the middle of cd2.

This site would be much improved if people bothered to watch or check the full rls b4 making their comments. 2 many just watch the sample and some dont even do that and just follow others comments just to get a post as fast as they can to try and look
good. 2 quick to knock grps who r trying..without even watching rls. we need these new grps...lets face it what else we got at moment?
Anyways the Telecine-Tun is out not

As said 2 many newbies making ridiculous comments on rls's they not even seen more than 2 mins off so they can be 1 of first to post is ruining this site - offer support and encouragement to new grps - half the grps r not even bothering to share rls's now a days because the get slagged off by numbnuts with daft comments. Keep it up guys and soon there will b no grps bothering.

Get the TELECINE version, the quality here is not worth the bandwidth.
