If it's the same source as the DVD, then it has an occasional watermark...

I hate when people ask about b/w scenes or watermarks!

Christ! Would you rather watch a crappy cam without watermarks or a dvd screener with watermarks? I think the answer is pretty self-explanatory...

Maybe people ask because they just would like to know before they watch the movie. Of course I rather watch a movie with BW scenes then a crappy quality movie but it still doesnt hurt to know what to expect before you watch the movie. Its just a simple question

And I hate it when people get their panties in a knot over innocuous questions about watermarks, etc.

I don't see what the big deal is. Depending on how "unclean" it is, some people would rather wait for the retail DVD rip (just like how you would rather wait for a screener than watch a crappy cam). It's just natural that people have different standards. Is that such a bad thing? It's not a problem unless you want to make a problem out of it.

Anyways, end of commentary.

If this is like the DVDR by DOPE, then there should be a few transparent "property of" messages that last about 4 seconds apiece (according to vector_gfx).

Some of us would rather wait for a dvdrip if dvdscr has b/w scenes or watermarks or even 2ch audio. So the question stands.

Does it have b/w scenes or watermarks?

Thumbs down

I don't know what version they are watching. what I have seen is crap it is way out of sync and a lot of watermarks

Posted by frak on 12-24-2006 08:56 AM:

Watched this on the TV tonight...

Great movie. Hadn't really paid much attention to it beforehand, figured it'd be another WWII movie, and not the story that it tells (about the flag).

Video quality is excellent and audio is excellent.

I ripped this screener to dvd and it was out of sync so fucking bad i threw it to my dog but nice try.it looks good but out of sync bad.

Anyone else having sync issues? The whole first half seems way off , but when i play the actual file on the computer it was a little better. Maybe a conversion problem? I used to ConvertXtoDVD. Never had any problems with it before.

:EDIT: no more discussions on your attempts to convert this to DVD - there's encoding/newbie sections for this. Comment on the release and the format it came in as any subsequent problems are more than likely a result of your conversion and not relevant to this thread. -Vampire

vamp - i'm OBVS not the only one who had problems converting it.

That may be, but keep encoding questions to the appropriate forum please. -EJO

The video is great but I can barely hear the sound. Any idea what I did wrong?

A lot of screeners have had this problem lately, I would say use amplified speakers or watch release on TV, it's what I'm having to do -LOLobo
