Great release for quality and sound

hell im a homophobe and i liked this movie. its interesting aslong as you dont put your own view of homosexuals in the way of the movie.

just wonder does it have any b/w or water marks?

Any black/white scenes? what about watermarks???

scanned through it,couple of scrolling messages,couldnt see any b/w ar looked ok excellent realese really.

then again im homophobic and wont watch it i expect.

this is a brammer of a release. no complaints here as its just hit the cinemas. well worth grabbing this even though a few people dont like it because of the homosexual theme. so,i suggest they bypass this one.as for the rest of us just get it.

very nice rip, great job DoNE. Film is definately worth seeing, whatever your feelings on homosexuality, try to enjoy the film for what it is instead of focusing on its sexual themes.

Video - very very nice, crystal clear thoughout, didn't notice anything in the way of pixellation. Has property of's scrolling along the bottom on the screen every 30mins, these are swift and don't intrude too much.

Audio - very good no problems here.

Movie - well........it's slow, but a story well told none the less. Has the gay tone as everyone knows, but it relates to many other issues underlying this main theme. The graphicness of this is pretty minimal to be honest, most of it is hugging and kissing.

......basically controversial. i leave you to your own judgement.

excellent dvdscr rip.vid is crisp and great colors with the occasional notes @ the bottom but its a scroll effect from right bottom the the left.audio and very nice also.

Great movie! Awesome release! Just watched it all, and like mentioned earlier, 3-4 quick scrolls on the bottom of "Property...blah blah", no b/w screens.

Video: 9 some pixelazation, very minimal tho, i just notice little things like that :-P

Audio: 10 great audio, i think it's 5.1 (??)

Movie: 10 where other movies show fairy tale boy meets girl, boy falls in love with girl.... etc., this one shows real life. little slow at beginning, but gets a hell of a lot better.

All in all, great release DoNE!! Keep em coming like harry potter and the rest!!!

The comments of directv made me finally register after reading these forums for quite a long time. His comments as I'm sure you know don't represent those of Canadians and It made me a little embarassed as a Canuk I had to say that.

I didnt enjoy the movie much and its not because of its homosexual content. I thought the movie was overrated after watching it, cant see why it won the awards it did. Too slow for me, although there have been slow movies ive liked, I just cant put my finger on why i didnt like Brokeback.

No watermarks, no b/w scenes, just a warning in the bottom once in a while.
Forget about the gay thing. After 30 min you don't even notice it's two guys. Ang Lee knows his job and makes a very good movie.

My problem with this movie, and I've heard many people complaining about that it's the english they speak. What a terrible accent, sometimes you don't have a clue what they're saying. English is not my birth language but I never had a problem understanding any dialogue like I had with this one. Not even scotish accent is so bad.

Could have been a lot louder. I had my speaker and mixer volumes maxed, and I still had to rewind a few times to catch the dialog.

Really well acted. Good story.

I have seen way more explicit male nudity in other popular films, so if you are scared of this movie because of that, don't be. Anne Hathaway and Michelle Williams are naked in it.

M:10 I Think this is the best movie made in 2005. It should win an award...

finally watched this... the beginning (T+30 mins or so) is the part that will make you stop, after that, there is a storyline to follow... albiet the fact this isnt me, it still isnt the chick flick I expected, I suppose its a decent flick, but not deserving of the attention it has... I will say the red head daughter (also in Jack and Bobby TV show) is HOT! but thats only a few minutes... I wont bash this in any way, but it just isnt an academy movie, its ok, better than i expected... but it does lack, even with the rave reviews... this release is fantastic though, the video is great (4-5 scrollers for 15 secs a peice) the audio has nothing to worry about (no surround) and the movie... well once again its ok, homophobes dont watch for obvious reasons, but i still expected this to be more of a Chick flick made for gey men... it has its small moments, but it is made so others can watch also...
