ive a sneaky suspicion we all can get them...y not post them on front page...discuss??

The ones that are scene are posted, or have yet to be. BUT the majority of those are NON-scene and have NO reason being posted here.

STG (Stuffies) = NON-scene

DEViSE = NON-scene (But has made it to this site)

Lynks = NON-scene

aAF = Has made it to this site.

GFW = Scene (NEW group)

This IS a scene site. ONLY scene releases are posted (for the most part, though a couple non-scene releases have made their way here...). You don't have to suspect anything, I'll tell you that I have and DO download non-scene releases. I could care less as long as the quality is what I consider "good/watchable". I don't care what anybody says about it either. People are going to download what they want, and most want the best out. So even if it is non-scene, a majority will opt for that release (i.e. the better/best one available).

yea and my number 1 site in my favs is ofcourse vcdquality but its just a habbit now...id love this site to shake off its shackles and post the quality of the newest releases(best preferably) heres 1 ive got now a few days 2 of the most popular actors on the planet...tbh dont suspect i'll see it on here for weeks if not months

). So not every release gets posted, or posted on the day it is released, so what. I would recommend to stop posting non-scene releases, but do what you will. I've said all I want to say. NO more from me.

If you want to find a site that supports p2p then search around.

Let's take My.Bloody.Valentine this was out early yesterday and a good dvd screener and yes i have seen it BUT is not recorded as a scene release hence it does not make it onto the site
I'm sure some small group will grab it and get rid of the sony watermark and release it as there own, i even suspect the group that will release it but again it wont make it on here because they are auto nuke, meaning any release that try pre will get automatically nuked

i always do..and im not on any p2p sites but im a member of various forums that post links ie rapidshare for example dont think thats classed as p2p,anyways good luck all..how about a compromise tho say a sticky thread in here were people can mention any finds they find

ie no mention of it on the front page

Lets also take Wolverine, upped as p2p then jumped on by *groups* (not the word i want to use)

and then we come to R5, how the fuck do they make it on the site?

R5 pre retails hit the net in Russia, with Russian audio, scene groups have access to these sites and download the dvd, then they get a release with the best audio strip it and remux (or sync for a better word) it back into the dvdr, then rip it to xvid

More than 1 person has access to these dvdr hence more than 1 release

And look not 1 swear word amazing

You've totally missed my point...

My point being, the R5 is just a russian rip, SFA to do with a scene release.

Everyone has access to the R5 releases so im not sure what point your trying to make there...

Take the F and F COALiTiON, it's ripped from a p2p russian tracker...

As for Wolverine, it was a p2p release first period so how the fuck did it make it here?

The R5 (RETAIL) is from Russian source yes, but a lot of Russian sources use European sites for games/music etc so they hook up with an English scene group and share sources.
As for the F&F maybe it was on a Russian p2p site but can u tell me a Russian scene group never release it themselves as well, and it takes more than 5 minutes for a group to sync and test there releases (like Coalition)
The movie was released around 4.10am about 20 mins after the German scene.
Now Coalition got there hands on this early grabbed an English audio and synced it up, just like the German scene did.

As for others being released like Wolverine i could give you an educated guess but that is all it would be a "guess"

It's been discussed before, if/when we rewrite the homepage we'll probably add a facility to submit releases that go into a "mod queue" type thing. That way, if a non-scene release spreads particularly well (and as a result, numerous people submit it) or if we miss a scene release, it should still get listed on VCDQ.

There are occasions when a Scene group has totally fucked-up a release (like SCREAM did with Benjamin Button), the Scene has refused to nuke the release and let another group like Replica do a Proper, so the only alternative has been to download from p2p.

Wob there's been truck loads of non scene releases lately why do you feel the need to be informed of them when they are easy enough to find.Also as with scene releases you know group by group what the quality is gonna be like, its only really Ts's and cams that need a review to decide what to Dl and then the NFO will sometimes tell you anyway.

well that release i just mentioned i might have missed a few weeks ago,not that thats really important tho as everything always eventually turns up..vcdq just seems to be just plodding along wasnt like that a few years back and regarding ts/cams etc i think we all know that long gone are the days of centropy/videocd who just done ts/cams...i dunno would love to see the place just not plodding along,maybe its the layout of the front page that i like as its just movies posted no apps etc anyways atb
