just wondered why when i rip a dvd through the panny and itll play for a hour sometimes 5 mins but then lock the machine up completely ,ive tryed differnt disc any one reccomend a disc for use .?

i had the same prob with my e20 but i found the traxdata worked the best and strangely enough the bulkpaq purples were ok too

i think it also helps if u keep the panny turned off when not using it as this stops it overheating and locking up

I had heard there were issues with the E30 like that. I have the E20. The best media i have found to date is the Ritek Silver top media (dark purple bottom). It seems to be the most compliant for recording and for playback in other machines (even works in ps2). If you look around you can find them for as low as .90 each too.
