I run a VB board myself and we used to chunter through 25 gigs of bandwith a month, and as im sure you know that costs a small fortune



I have managed to cut that down by a little (not as much as id liked but a little is better than nothing) by doing a few things.

Hosting the images Externally on another host.


and installing the quick reply box.


I like the quick reply box cause it means people dont have to load a whole new page just to reply, hense saving the bandwith each time the page is loaded

I wish i could offer some money to help with the hosting costs, but i have my own hosting issues at the moment with the amount it costs me

I'm solving my bandwith problems by starting my own isp.. e-mail me and let me know how much space/bandwith you need and i'm almost certian i can match and/or beat whatever your getting now..
The place where we're getting our bandwith from is telling us that our oc3 will be up and running by june 7th.. Thanks for the vb hacks..

hehe i have just started to put together plans for doing the same as yourself.

np with the hack i have had it floating around for a while, if there are any others you need just let me know i may be able to get hold of them
