Change sections?

Here's an idea:

What about creating one section for TV-rips, and one section for DVD-ripped TV? It's getting annoying with all these whole seasons of dvd-rips among the new premieres. Hmm.. but then there are a lot of broadcast rips of old episodes too. Ok, forget it then.

How about renaming the other sections? VCD and SVCD bare little significance, we all know VCD actually is Cam/TS/TC/Scr and SVCD is actually the retail-rip section.

Probably an old discussion. Just ignore me.

I agree about the VCD/SVCD thing, but that's how the scene organizes things. We might change it to NR (non-retail) / retail SVCD / retail DivX / retail DVDR, or something.

As for the TV section ... it doesn't seem very difficult to look at the left margin to figure out whether something is a TV-rip or a DVD-rip. I for one like seeing them all together.

And I'm not sure what you mean about "broadcast rips of old episodes" ... those don't usually get listed. There are dozens of old rips that come out each day that are purposefully not listed here.
