raid setup
can i just create a raid 0 w/o formating? my dad got a samsung 160gb sata hdd today and i think i want to put it in a raid setup to maximize preformance. also wut is setup in raid 0 gunna be like? will it be like just seein 1 drive ? the drives are 1 samsung 120gb sata and his new samsung 160gb sata. mobo is a chaintech zenith znf3-150 runnin an athlon 64 3200 i belive

nope, unless there is something i'm unaware both drives must be formatted completely to correctly configure a RAID array of any type.
I think you have to start off with blank discs, RAID0? holy shit, hope you aren't gonna keep anything on it that is critical, speed will be awesome compared to a non-RAID system but be warned I got screwed when I lost a HD and therefore the whole array, spend some more money and go RAID 5
