audio/video synch

Hi everyone,i have a question which some of you may be able to help me with.I am recoding xvid/divx to dvd with nero and burning
with nero also.......but a little way into the movie's the sound starts to run out of synch with the picture it's fine at the start though so i am somewhat puzzled is there anything anyone can recommend that will fix this problem?
