I dont uderstand this stuff I cant play a movie I have on my hard drive .its says I dont have the correct codecs ,what is the codecs and how do I get it I dont even know what to look for to find the correct codecs I need ...HELP!!!!...THNKS

You need an app called GSpot, you should be able to grab it off www.doom9.org - run the .avi through that and it will tell you every codec referenced in it... Then you can go and grab em

you can also search the forum there is already a codecs page made here that states all the likley codecs needed
