Pal NTSC problem

I have a Pal tv and pal DVD player ( Philips 612S ) and when I play ntsc (S)VCD through my tv it plays in colour, but when I play them through my VCR they play in black and white.Does anybody know what I have to do to fix this?Do I have to get some sort of pal-ntsc converter or what ?Any help appreciated.

It means your vcr is not nstc compatible. Either there is a switch on the back of the vcr as my old hitatchi had or u just can use it to play nstc sorry update your video:-(

DVD hack for u

Here bro. I found this DVD multiregion hack for your player. Not sure if it will work or not because I have a JVC and Apex player and not Philips. Try it out and good luck.
