DivXfix for MPEG1?
Does anyone know of anything like divxfix for mpeg1 files?
I'm trying to extract the audio to wav from virtualdubmod, and keeps stopping spitting an error of a bad frame. I deleted that frame, but I still get the error.

Mpeg files (atleast mpeg2, i think its the same for mpeg1 but i never use mpeg1...) can be played when a file is not complete.
E.G. A half downloaded version will work.
On avi files this is different. An avi file has some sort of index which is needed to play the file. This index is stored at the end of the file so a half downloaded avi file will not work.
DivFix will re-build an index so its playable again, something that is not needed for mpeg and therefore does not exist.
Tools to filter bad frames should be present (i never had to use it, so i dont know which tools are capable of doing it).
Maby you can use other demux tools to get the Audio off? (DGIndex or TMPGEnc maby)
