dvd discs
hi there l was wondering if anyone can help me with a problem l'm having.l've got files on my laptop that l want to put onto disc, using the appropriate software l've converted the files which would be suitable for putting onto the discs, but when l go to burn the files a message appears saying please insert a blank dvd +-R,now l have sony dvd + and - R discs, does that mean that the dvd writer is not registering the discs that are in the drive? cheers for your any help
First of all, what type of DVD burner do you have on your laptop? Most DVD burners will burn movies if it's a DVD-R or RW disc. If your DVD burner can transfer the files on + or - discs then it should work. I don't see why it shouldn't. The type of brand name for the discs I use are TDK and they seem to work fine for me. Also, did you decrypt the movie then use DVD shrink to back it up? If you need extra help, send me an e-mail. I'll be glad to assist you in any way I can.
are you sure that the discs are actually blank, and that you give the drive a minute or so to register the disc
