NoTV releases - mp3 audio Unknown (Tag 0055)

I've noticed with NoTV and other groups that their TV releases use mp3 audio but if you open the file in VirtualDubMod it comes up as, Unknown (tag 0055).

Any ideas what this mp3 is?

If you try to alter the file i.e. change the volume Virtual Dub spits out an error. Unable to decompress audio stream, install correct codec.

do you already have ffdshow installed?
