hooking up pc to tv, Question about Audio
I set up my HDtv to my pc a long while ago, using HDMI which works great. I couldn't be happier with that. So I have my stereo set up with my tv, and so my 360, and cable and my pc can be in stereo, I'm lazy and haven't hooked back speakers up yet, lol. I have just the 3.1 set up. Two front and center, with a sub.
I have the audio going from my tv to my stereo, So basically I have my pc sound going to the tv then the stereo. I have a setup but not working the greatest. I have both out from the pc and like a dual headphone jack to combine the front and center speaker setup which works OK, but not nearly as good as it could.
Theres the setup.
Whats the best way to set it up? I want the best sound possible for the equipment I have, It does sound good, but could sound much better I think.
Any chance of you knocking-up a diagram of your current setup/wiring in MSPaint or similar because your description is hurting my head. we also need to know what inputs you have available on the TV n Amp ect.
Sorry I hadn't posted anything in here. I got it figured out, Sounds terrific now.
Not sure how it works though, Is the TV decoding the Audio or the PC or the receiver? I'm not sure.
