Great Rls Pv. Considering we all noe VCDCentral's rls was a TC but pasted as a SCR. This i hope is a real scr. Will be great for my kids. I'd give it a 9/9. Good Job keep it up

Posted by Avenger on 03-03-2003 03:13 AM:

How was VCDCentrals a TC?
You don't think some studios put out multiple copies of there work? With different serials, markings etc?

good release, Definitely not a 9 though, sound is great.

8/9/?

Posted by petrocs on 03-03-2003 03:57 AM:

excellent..this is actually a pretty fun movie and a little cool play on a classic book.
The release is nice looking. I am grabbin this now. If I find anything wrong with it I'll post.

8/8/7

has anyone viewed the sample here? I can only imagine how shitty this would look on a 30" television, cause it looks like crap on my 17" monitor.

I'd say 6/6/?

Looks like I'm still waiting for a copy of this release that won't disrupt my enjoyment of the film. Call me picky....oh well.

Correct me if im wrong, but TC is straight from the reel, meaning it wouldnt have a serial number, meaning a group wouldnt blur anything out??? I recall VCDCentral's having a huge ass blur...

Maybe you should think before you speak. A telecine is made from a reel yes, but fox makes telecines to send out for promotion ect. And a telecine is a form of screener but just not quite. And yes the so called fox screeners are telecines.

It's a VHS Screener, not DVD Screener so it wont' be perfect. But the resolution on the TV isn't as good as the PC Monitor, so it will actually be better on your TV than PC.

Posted by Leigh^ on 03-03-2003 07:57 AM:

/me looking at some of the earlier threads, can see some real group pride, and a touch of exaggeration

Still that said, overall nice screener, decent video, pretty good audio. And Rep- is very much right, it does look very nice on my television, so all in all, nice job Pv.

7/7/6

really dark video, great audio

just an all-around nice release...good job Pv

Posted by mrtwist on 03-03-2003 07:24 PM:

6/6/6.. VCDCentral is a better rip.. (even with blurred serials).. Sounds only 2 channel.. and the color is faded and blurred & very pixeled..

Posted by SeeDee on 03-03-2003 07:49 PM:

6\6\8

At best this is a good TS, if you check start of film, you can see the film has been recorded slightly to the left of the cinema and then zooms in. Sound is direct source, but very hissy. This is a definitely a Far East 3rd\4th gen vhs - > PDVD.

Yes... quite... on topic... sure... looks like it

Comment on quality, not your disagreements between one another, and because I don't want to contradict myself.

Watched the release, overall pretty good job, pretty impressed.

Its crap, check the movie itself, not the pic on site.

All sorts of video errors in the movie.

Care to ellaborate on your findings??? Most of these people on this board are so vague with thier problems with releases...

PS: SweetSour... Make sure your disc is clean and scratch free...

I don't know why the voting is so high for this - the video is way too blurred and the colour is off! Might look better on a TV than PC.

The source of this release is ALOT better than the other versions but Pv can use a few encoding tips. Video is a tad blurred and their are glitches, Audio was ok but in the end this is the best release available. 6/8/9, very good film YAY, Disney!

Posted by dtwizzy on 03-05-2003 03:58 AM:

Angry useless

vcdcentral won. True thiers had that big ass blur.

the quality on this isnt well @ all. the reason no group done this movie is because its a disney movie ( read macrovision out the ass on an analouge source ).

movie retails in less than a month so this release is pointless.

Posted by Heflink on 03-06-2003 07:07 AM:

I dont know why people are giving this such rave reviews.. I wasnt impressed with the quality. 3rd gen VHS.

Best so far, but none the less.. meh.

6/5/?
