VERY nice effort for a first release. Good CAM audio, little flickery but overall very good effort.

i hate to post sumthing so early knowing that i havent seen any sample just a picture.

i read there nfo they talked about laughing throught out the movie like the audience laughing, this is so easy to fix. i read something online bout how 2 get laughing out of svcds and vcd ts. its so easy! theres a filter on virtualdub that will erase it 4 u.

nice early release TheUknnown

Bahahahaaa.....woooo...

Video: 6.8
Audio: 5.7
Movie: 8 (A lot better than I thought it would be.)

Overall, not bad. If this was the only release to come out, I'd be happy.

ummmm no. There may be a way to cancel out some of the laughing manually, but an automatic filter is not going to do anything about taking out random sounds. And even trying to take out segments of laughter manually would be very difficult. Its possible but in the time it would take a screener would be out. Not to mention virtualdub is not a powerful enough audio editor to do a whole lot of things well

anyway
one of the better cam ive seen in awhile 7's across

except a ts has direct audio, therefore shouldn't have any laughing on it anyway im sorry, but that smells of so much bullshit. would it remove any REAL laughin in the movie too

not a bad rls at all. laughter so what. just wait for a better version. but hey props to the group for winning the race to rls online. this is one of the funniest movies i have seen in a long time. last time i laughed so hard was the movie ".something about mary"

8/6.5/10

Posted by LilKobe8ryant on 08-02-2003 11:47 PM:

yea, there probably is alot of laughter too, i saw it in theaters last nite, and the audience lauged alot and loud!

movie was great by the way, better than second, not quite as great as original!

Posted by faYth on 08-02-2003 11:56 PM:

good choice making this a svcd-cam, the picture is excellent and great sound for not direct. really, keep up this great work! 8-7-?

Posted by HuFFKING on 08-03-2003 12:00 AM:

Great first realese and in the nfo they say you have nothing we need which means they are a very well equipt group and im sure there will be improvements in there next rls

Posted by badboyz on 08-03-2003 01:10 AM:

very nice

Nice job on the release. Picture is relatively clear and sound is good enough and the laughter in the background is not that bad.

7/7/11 <----- Movie is that good

Posted by Exode on 08-03-2003 02:02 AM:

Wow. Not bad at all.

Video: 8
Audio: 6 (Only because of laughing)
Movie: 9 (A lot better than I thought it would be)

Excellent release! I hope to see more of you guys! This release is good enough for me until a screener.

it's an SVCD cam, or at least that's what it says it is

Your comment was irrelevant.

Anyways, I've had a chance to watch the whole release and it's not bad. A few problems, but no worries. You'll get used to the laughing in the background (I completely forgot it was there. It gave kind of that 'theatre' feeling).

Not bad. There's almost no need for a telesync. This copy will keep me happy until a vhs/dvd screener.

Posted by allway on 08-03-2003 04:09 AM:

I saw the movie in theatres last night, and it was purely hilarious. As many people have said before it wasn't as the first, but it is definetly worth the 7.50 I paid to see it in theatres. From what I've seen it appears to be a very worthy release, but since I don't have the entire movie I don't feel like I should rate it. X/X/8

Posted by LionCourt on 08-03-2003 04:23 AM:

Talking

What? You people havent heard of the antihumor filter in virtualdub?? sheeeesh, where have you all been? Sad thing about it tho is that it takes out the jokes in the movie too

Sorry, cant rate it cuz I didn't see it, but didn't think a little humor would hurt ;-)

Posted by sirghost on 08-03-2003 05:35 AM:

great movie..worthy of being an american pie movie...anyhow..7 for vid and 5 for sound..good pic...sound was a bit hollow even for a cam...movie, well..all i can say is its american pie..:P

ps, watched cd1, its a bit cropped on the sides and top, but not very much, id say maybe 10% if that on each side and 5% on the top...

.. actually a great release.... soem camera problems with zooping and cropping the left side at the begenning . but perfectly watchable

audio was great for a cam ... i never get cams .. but i made a exception ... and wasnt dissapointed.

picture was nice .. bright enough .. colors were nice .

movie was as to be expected ... didnt expect anything less. very good..... and im so glad Chris Klein sp ? wasnt in it .. man i hate him , oh and Mena Suvari ,,.... man shes hideous and i dotn care what anyone says .,

Posted by skubee on 08-03-2003 12:46 PM:

interlacing

i just started the first cd and am a half hour into it. theres some interlacing but i guess that can be easily fixed. other than that the picture is nice, albiet zoomed in a bit too close. colors are nice and saturated though not too much that it bugs. sound is pretty good for a cam.. you can hear the audience but its not too bad.

overall id say its an awesome release for a firstimer. just gotta iron out some bugs and unknown would do great. i said to a friend that it reminded me of the uti release. minus the zoom and the interlacing.

7/7/8

It's obviously mpeg-2. Why would you think it's dvix/xvid when it says SVCD in the nfo?

Posted by KrackZaa on 08-04-2003 05:25 AM:

yeah i like this release, a little to the right and slanted, sound is a cam but still good, picture is very good. i think ill give this a 8/8.5, good job hope to see more from you guys soon.

dude wtf copy did you download, codec? its svcd, unless you got a reencode. heh.

a word for the camera person, set up the came, align your shizzle, and stop zooming in and out....leave the camera alone after it looks good. oh yes, and the head pop-up count is 2 so far that i noticed.
but good color and good audio...just work on that zoomy trigger finger
