Judging FROM THE SAMPLE, video quality is pretty sharp and clear (clarity is actually very good for a DVD Screener). Audio is nice and clean also, but according TO THE NFO it has black & white instances which may be a bit annoying but definitely not a big deal (the scrolling watermark is also shown but that goes by quick). I'm pretty SURE it's Freddy Vs. Jason since I saw it in theatres and the scene in the SAMPLE matches scenes from the movie. I hope it isn't a bad pack because the film was pretty good. 9/10/8 NJ TCF

I guess you haven't followed the S.W.A.T thread, notice the sarcasm. I have to explain that I'm judging from the sample and the sample has to be from the encoded movie, if I don't it can be used against me in a court of blah.

Posted by luckyluke80 on 10-29-2003 02:36 PM:

wow great rls! movie was not bas either! good sound and video
TCF has been the king of dvdscr!

typical dvd scr, Not bad at all

The movie itself Blew chunks. One of the worst movies EVER made.

8/8/- 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,

Can't really judge by the samples IMO. since those watermarks and B&W spots can be long or short, but as for the movie, it's not like the director was trying to make another Saving Private Ryan. I mean its a story about 2 slasher characters from the 80's for God's sake, Thats like saying Phil Collins doesn't know how to right music.....

Typical TCF quality... not bad film...8/9/7

Living in this world of uncertain times for the dvdscr...

Posted by teegee420 on 10-29-2003 05:12 PM:

Good quality, TCF. I realize that a lot of screeners these days go black and white but I guess I just don't like this film enough to endure it for this release. No reflection on TCF though.

Video- 8
Audio- 9
Film- 5

Posted by JMitch16 on 10-29-2003 06:03 PM:

Looks nice from sample. Liked the film...didn't understand the ending.

Posted by on 10-29-2003 06:12 PM:

Not bad TCF.... I guess ViPER's release got pred right in time just before TCF can pre a SVCD......

Good Job....

Posted by peevuto on 10-29-2003 07:01 PM:

This release is average for DVD Screeners. I almost prefer Vipers release, cuz no scrolling watermarks and black and white scenes.

7.5/7.5/6

pho probably just hasn't read this yet, and if he had im pretty sure psyche would be gone by now for spamming the comments section with idiot posts due to the fact that he cant drop a stupid quarrel...

Posted by Paul889 on 10-30-2003 03:37 AM:

Quality is awesome! but the black and white and scrolling messages are SO ANNOYING!

Posted by Nusphere on 10-30-2003 07:47 AM:

What are you talkin about?!, this is my 1st sarcastic post since my argument with pho. If my initial post on the S.W.A.T thread was an idiot post then what would you say to Mystic Slippers on the Creepers Jeepers 2 thread and many others where MS posts similar information as I. I find it informative, as do many others who actually come to these forums to comment on the quality not to flame people and call them dumbass kids.

Freddy vs Jason

Props to TCF for this release, another gr8 job

Much better than Vipers rls, not as blurry, crystal clear in my opinion, not to bothered bout black and white segs or the usual piracy info.

Good job, u r definately my fave group

Picture 8.5

Sound 8.5

Movie 9.0

Later peeps

Right, I guess this one just didn't count then...

hey stop judging by the sample guys or pHo will come down on you like a ton of bricks. btw, TC my ass... more like cropped TS with metallic/tin-ish audio (notice when the chick says "watch out!").

I don't care if you're judging from the sample or not... you taking an arguement way too far just makes you look stupid. That's all I have to say, so I'm not taking up any more space in this thread.

What's wrong with your cue sheets? Mine loaded just fine in CDRWin, if you're using Nero to burn I think it has problems with Multisession. PowerDVD 5 also has issues with it when using Daemon tools but version 4 loaded them just fine. Wierd.

I use Fireburner and TCF Cues never work, all other groups fine, strange, might be a problem with Fireburner
