goes out of sync half way thru cd2

no worries, adjust sync in xbmc



then 5 or 10 mins from the end the video goes bonkers and you miss the last of the film.

got this fix from a user wear i got the file and this works
HAS benn NUKED for being out of syncy but its no problem


How to fix synch in Apocalypto
download this program AVI-Mux_GUI-1.17.7
load AVI-Mux_GUI-1.17.7 file (can drag & drop). click "Generate Data Source From Files" button. select audio in lower window and delay audio by 945 millisecs then press start it takes bout 60seconds to do then film completely in sync hope this helps..

ddb ive done what you said and it has not worked.

No the avimux doesn't work, I tried it as soon as I saw the sync issues, it only works if the whole disc is out of sync, shame because it's a really good picture

Try this to fix the sync problem.

Load cd2 into AviDemux
Hit the "A" button
Move the slider to the 27 minutes mark
Hit the "B" button
Click "save"
Hit the "A" button
Move the slider to the end of the film
Hit the "B" button
Tick the audio shift button and move it to 1500
Save the file
Load the first part of the film that you saved earlier
Hit CTRL+ALT+A
Load the second part of the film
Make sure the audio shift is unticked
Save the film, it should now be in sync

good picture (no issues) & sound, as long as you re-sync the sound as fredkite described (works like a charm here).

great picture and audio quality

i tried using VLC and media player and when you set the audio delay to 1600ms, the audio is in sync )well as far as i can tell anyway!)

of course this is only valid if you are watching this release on a computer.

sound and video very good..movie itself..not really

Top class film cd2 out of sync a bit but what the hell ya reading subtitles anyway dont make any difference

M skipped through it and looks like a 10 to me.
Grabbed the fix by Migraine which has sorted the sync issues, now have to delete 13 seconds of pixelation from cd2 using VirtualDub, then convert to DVD and all will be fine.

Deleted those 13 secs and converted to dvd, watched and couldn't spot the join(or edit), was well proud of myself until a 2 second glitch popped up 5 mins from the end, still, it didn't spoil a 10 out of 10 movie.

Apocalypto 2006 DVDSCR XviD SYNCFIX-MIGRAINE

"Unrar m-a2.rar somewhere, move the imbt cd2 to that
dir, run fix.bat, wait, delete old avi.

so cd2 has a few glitches and it goes a little out
of sync. run this to fix that. you will need about
1.4GB free while it does its magic.

you may need to seek past the glitch at 56:03 if
your AC3 decoder freaks out, mine did, not all will

Many thx to migraine 4 the fix, was totally watchable.

A = 9 (woulda been 10 but for the sync originally)
V = 9 (pixelated a coupla times, ie need 4 sync fix)
M = 9.5

top watch, well worth getting

::edit The movie was way outta whack in cd2, the migraine fix does a magic job

Does anyone know if the TGP dvdr and IMBT xvid releases are the same source? Just curious because I would like to know which one to grab, which one has the least glitches for video i'm not worried about the audio since the fixes are out there.

After applying Apocalypto 2006 DVDSCR XviD SYNCFIX-MIGRAINE to CD2, looks like it corrects most of the errors. Will find out after encoding to DVD.

m ? i dunno, but how the FUCK do you give a movie a 10 from just "skimming" though a release.

Video: 9 Awesome quality. Glitch is only problem i can see

Audio: 9 (audio is still good even though there are those sync issues that can be fixed in 3 minutes. It is either this or a cam, you choose)

movie: No idea whatsoever didn't watch it.

Watched on standalone and used syncfix mentioned above. Overall a great release. no black and whites or property of's, a couple times throughout the movie something is blurred on the top and bottom but you hardly notice it at all.

V - 9 Fantastic

A - 9 AC3 is always good (this rating made with the sync fix)

M - 9 It was really good, boy they were pretty crazy back then. I have read that blood would poor down the steps like a stream, thats how fast they killed hundreds and hundreds of people.

Great movie, Mel's back. Played iMBT's CD1 with VMF's fixed CD2. Two video glitches on CD2, no sync issues. Grab 'em and enjoy!
