didnt notice any sync issues here....sample bit dark so i'll wait 10 mins til ive grabbed cd1 before i rate it....looks ok tho nice clr sound pic seems a lil grainy, i'll edit this up after watching cd1

edit::7/6/8 loved the movie i decided to watch it all, pic is a lil dark sound is a lil hollow but its all clr very watchable no need for any propers overall decent rls

w00t UTi , glad your still around , wanted to watch this movie too. Overall from sample as said seems a little dark , WideScreen color's seemed alright to me. Sounded pretty good also no outta sync noticed. Picking this up now ... will rate when finished watching it.

Decent overall, a tad dark and grainy and audio isnt the best, but watchable and not bad for a first release (of this movie, not UTi)

Sample didn't seem that dark. I watched this release. Movie didn't seem that dark. Audio wasn't the loudest but it was direct.
Was a bit grainy but not outside what you'd expect from a ts.
Perfectly watchable. Carrey was effective but i'd still rather see him in comedy.

a bit dark & grainy but well watchable

pic didn't look too dark, atleast from the sample, decent colors, not too grainy either, sound is decent, not perfect TS sound, but will do, can't wait to watch this.

Glad to see UTi is still around.. I've always enjoyed they're releases and think they are one of the most respectable groups around.. Quality is good Sound is good.. movie looks good so good release =)

nice release uti...from CD1 this is a nice start to the telesync scene compared to your previous cams...which were nice cams..but your telesyncs are still good.. Has a very nice pic..a little dark at times...Widescreen and stop lying about the sound being hollow..the sound is direct and very nice, clear and loud...

Ok i'm not taking anything away from this release because it's very nice and it's free...Some have stated that it's a lil hollow well i agree but a lil Hollow means it's not direct sound.It's a mislabeled cam plain and simple.If other groups that people like to bash put this out there would be many people bitching at them.Lets be fair.

Video 8 (Minimal cropping, Slighly dark, Overall good TS)
Sound 8.5 (Direct, no real problems)
Movie ? (Not watched all of it)


At last, UTi get a direct input. Video side seems to be improved as well, with no heads, minimal cropping, and a steady hand\tripod.

The video is a bit dark and grainy and the sound is a bit weak but for a TS it is definately watchable. This movie is the best movie I've seen in a long, long time. I saw it in the theater on Friday and was wanting to see it again so I'm very happy with this release. 7/7/10

Watched this all the way through last night.

Pic - little dark in places, but then it's supposed to be like that. You can still see what's going on throughout the whole movie though so it's not that big a deal. Absolutely no angle though and no cropping either so its great from that respect

Audio - direct and very clear but a little tinny in places. No real problems.

Movie - OMG. Absolutely stunning. One of the best movies in the last 5 years.

Wow, thanx UTi. It's nice to atleast somebody is picking up the slack with our apparent lack of good SVCD TS lately. I mean still no Dawn of the Dead or Taking Lives good copies, just watchable Cams and your typical FTF. I've been waiting awhile to see this movie and although the Pic can be a bit dark and colors faded at times. It's a very watchable first rls. Also i found no sync issues when i burned and watched on my tv. Overall i thought the movie was very well done but definitely one for the drama fans out there... Now if some would just please rls some good quality PROPERS or even TS SVCDs.. TCR, VideoCD,Matine, I hope your listening Anyway again props to UTi for the first watchable SVCD TS this month of a new movie..

nice release, movie sucks

video : 8
-tad dark, not really noticable, except in a couple scenes. otherwise excellent, no distracting flicker or motion blur and minimal cropping.

audio : 7
-understandable, but somewhat muffled/hollow. seems like they used directional or wireless mics instead of a direct ald patch? either way, audio is, imo, not direct but mic'd.

movie : 8
-good showing for jim carrey, he's been making great flicks lately

wow, yeah this is probably the best movie of 2004 so far. such a "nice" story, everything seems to flow so nice.

huh and for the release itself it was okay
video was like 7.6, audio was like 8.5 and i think the movie was good so i would say around 9.1 out of 10.

As everyone has said movie is dark but its definetly watchable. Grainy also

I'm beginning to like Jim as more than a comedian.

I watched the complete release last night, and here is my review:

Video-7.5 A bit dark, and a tad grainy, but overall very good. Good AR, no heads in the way, or shakey camera adjustments. And although it seems to be a trend lately, the beginning and ending are not cut off! I love a complete release.

Sound-7 I love the comment in the NFO about finding the plug, thats classic. Much better than the CAM audio we're used to from UTi. No sync problems at all. It is still missing something though. It sounds just slightly muffled, or not quite as full as it should be. Very understandable, with no static bursts, or glitches.

Movie- 6 I may get flamed for the low rating, but i really didn't enjoy watching this movie at all. Its more like you "experience" this movie rather than watch it. Its in no way a feel good movie, nor do you really care about what happens to the characters. You just kind of watch what happens in a very "Momento" style of storytelling. Great acting all around. It was way more vulgar than it needed to be, and had some really horrible effects like the oversized set when Jim Carrey was 4, and hiding under the table. It gets points for being creative/original, but as a whole, i didn't like it.

Great release by UTi. Please keep bringing us quality like this.

Watched the whole release just awhile ago...

Video- (7) a little dark on some parts of the movie..

Audio- (9) Direct and clear for me..

Movie- (7) Wasn't what i expected..but it was a very good film
none of the less...

Overall- (good) Would have been a Great TS if it was a lil brighter..
Great job UTi.. A keeper till dvd scr/retail..

a little darkish green but all in all good quality. def watchable in my opinon, hope a proper comes out

colors were kinda wacky (red was RED, everything else kinda blue/grey) dark in certain scenes and the audio was good for a TS. The movie... wow, way cool. We all got high and blew our minds tonight!

The picture is fine, a bit too dark though, but the sound...omg, no thank you...It was so boring too watch just because of the bad sound...well well, off I go, watching it in the cinema instead tonight XD

This release is not as good.. i would give it 6/6/1.. The movie SUCKED SOOO HARD... i can't believe people loved it... If you watch paycheck and then watch this movie, it's a CLONE!!! I can't believe nobody complained about it.. OMG... what's so great about the movie anyways? he doesn't want get his memory erased... okay, now lets look at paycheck, he's trying to remember the memory that was erased... PRETTY MUCH SIMILAR!!! Jim Carey sucked in this movie.. he's just a bum....
