Personal Opinion Time!!

The quality on this is much better, it may even be from same source, but they did a much better job on encoding imo, the audio is atleast synced from what I seen. Pic quality is much better not as bright and over washed colors in this release!!!

this release is about 20 pixels width wise, and no change height wise. NBP/ASTROIDS is notorious for p2p reencodes, and there are xvid artifacts in the DVDR/SVCD, So i was simply calling out bullshit on the NFO. how can you claim bad AR when it really didnt change?

So I obtained the sample which was a small help not great though.

It seems to be a telecine as I couldnt see any motion blur which you see in a cam even a maVen. It doesnt have any pulsing like the zn ts and is a bit crisper but not the greatest tc by a longshot. It looks like its gonna be as dark in the dark scenes as the ts/cams that have been out as black areas in sample were very black cant be sure as sample was a bright scene.
Audio seems usual asteroids stuff has that slight wavering effect to it but clear.

gonna watch zn release tonight not sure if im gonna get full release of this(asteroids) yet.

Video is better than ts versions(but not by a whole lot) not sure about Dank-tc as dont have that.
Audio is as good as ts versions, sync seemed fine.

Peeps have knocked zn for poor subtitles but at least they supplied em.

Not a bad release (i respect this more since it was from actual dvd source not from .avi and just resynced) but yea, subs are russian, so who knows maybe I will snag the dank release and do a iND sub pack.

Great Release, Resolution Is Slightly Different Then Dank's Copy, Video Quality Looks A Bit Better As Well.

I prefer xvid because I'm using a 32 lcd monitor and just run the files from my computer, so I've seen quite a few Asteroids releases... most, if not all, were watchable. So how is this release?

I'm not in the scene. I'm just a leecher. I use this site to see what's out, then I snag what I want.

So... how's this release? And how's the actual movie? Worth watching?
