The Happening

Video :Good color, overall good picture. Only thing I can fault the video for is being a tad bit dark, but 7.5 is still a really nice TS.

Audio :Audio is nice and loud with no distortion 8.0

Movie : i havent watched it yet, this may be the copy that I view though. It does seem like everyone was dissapointed with the movie.

not a bad release at all. little dull in color IMO, but xbmc might be able to fix that some.. Can't ask for anything better a week after opening really.. Audio like others said is spot on so if you wanna see it bad enough go for it. Well worth it

v: 7.3 (just needs a little more color and detail but its TS so can't complain too much
a: 8 perfect from what I can hear. Need more of this.
m: Not sure, going to watch tomorrow but hearing bad reviews

Very nice release and very watchable. Good film, survival horror genre. Subtle at times, leaves you with questions - the mark of an excellent film.

V - 8 Good colour, bit cropped on left side, good contrast watching through my TV.

M - 3 Extremely disappointed, was expecting way better. Starts off OK then spirals into a mess.

Really a good TS, since they are more and more harder to come by this is really a nice one. The video looks good and the audio is a bit flat, but it is direct. While watching this on the big screen TV it really looks good, the color is nice and it is not pixeled or dark. This is a good effort and BaLD should be proud of this release. Thanks for the effort guys and the good release, hope there is more coming soon.

Really enjoyed this. Never trust the CIA though

From scanning. Bearing in a mind a cam. Color washed. Resolution so so. Some pix too. Audio at best OK. For TS not full. Heard a lot better. Still overall totally watchable. I will wait.

Badgered to play the movie so did. Pix in darker scenes slightly worse than thought. Audio slightly better. Except for first ten or so humorous minutes movie pathetic. Revised ratings:

a fast reasonable quality ts!! so good it reminds me of the old days!
colours a bit washed and hard to see the dark scenes but there is only a few minutes worth

V:6 Good for a TS, but a bit dark and washed out. Very watchable however.

A:7 I actually didn't think it was all that bad. A bit hollow but could hear everything pretty good.

M:1 I've given up on any of his movies after seeing this. They pushed the R rating, it should have an S rating for S.H.I.T. Started out like all his others, with promise, and then becomes a train wreck that makes you feel like you've wasted 90 minutes you'll never get back again. Blah.

OMG....WHAT A STUPID MOVIE!! DO NOT PAY TO SEE THIS CRAP!!

I was glad to see this version out... mucho better than the other avail's...

The information texts that appear on the bottom are in German I believe but that's cool..

What ISN'T COOL is that they apparently censored this flick for the German squeamish basids... I watched the one scene where the chick pulls the thing from her hair and it cuts away as she is about to do something.. The OTHER version actually shows her piercing her neck and jamming it around... What ELSE was censored I haven't a clue..

Good enough to watch if you use a color and sharpen filter on it though... very watchable...

i thought it was a very watchable TS, but it definitely did seem edited.. this is an R rated movie and i didn't see anything R rated in this release.. i don't know why the Germans would edit it, but they must have..

v:8 - a little dark
a:6.5 - good but distortion on peaks
m: w/e.. it was pretty silly, but i hope this was edited, cuz there should have been more gore

Video was good but motion blurred and audio was fine but hollow and echoing at points.

Movie = Another Sub par flick from M Night.

Note to M Night.. stop making movies. Six sense was your ONLY GOOD movie. The rest are either "mildly entertaining" or absolute disasters. This falls somewhere in between.

At times through the movie there were colour blemishes, a little dark, but this is what is to be expected from Telesyncs, overall.. very watchable.

Audio, again at times a little warbled and reverbed, but generally ok with no sync issues.

The movie was ok up until half way through, when they started suggesting that it was the plants & grass. I would have preferred it had something to do with the disappearance of the bees. Not so much one to make you jump, nor cringe as the camera pans away right at the last minute from seeing anything gruesome.

Overall, good for a rainy day in.

ok . accepatble under current ts standards
very decent overall , slight shimmer during light scenes audio bit warbly , but decent enough for early copy . during foreign french parts near end has subs but they are german , not sure how this may take away anything from the twists to the story but sure it can be worked out with watching ?
obviously its no maven saosin centropy but best we goona get on ts's for now , i reckon sum1 will step up soon and get a proper hd cam n film these well ! fingers x-ed , lololol ....
so for me after good skip thru v-8 a-7.5
seemed in sync and runtime seems about right missing most of end credits runtime imdb 91 mins this is nearly 84 mins so with framerate loss and credits seems mostly all there . gonna have to be a watcher this , but it may still end up confusing all ..... sixth sense was the best the village wasnt bad if u got the story , seems the way with most of his rls's . anyway decent enough ... just

NUKED !!!

Missing about 1 Minute of "gore" scenes.

The Video source is from a German Version of the movie which was cut about 1 Minute to get a FSK16 Rating instead of FSK18.

Very good quality at such an early rls date! Is the film worth watching... Simple answer is NO.

Not bad for a TS luckily i saw this in the cinema day after release ( £3.00 so cheap, heh ), and again it did seem like some bits have been edited out like that chick with her hair grip, cut away before you saw anything, but end of the day the film left you with more questions than you got answers for.

The movie is clearly intended to be funny.
Even if it isn't, yeah the mopvie wasn't scary of whatever but it was HILLARIOUS. I would definitely watch it again.

I don't understand, people everywhere are saying this movie was bad and at the same time sat watching it and laughed their ass off. How does that make it bad?

Video quality is OK. Kind of blurry,and at times as white lines going up it (like what you would see if you were watching a Tv on your TV. but it is still watchable. Audio is fine as well. As far as the movie goes, all I can say is looked who directed it.
