Good quality rls, terrible terrible movie.

Posted by BLUE-NEO on 02-08-2004 08:15 PM:

too be honest..this is a better vcd screener. But its a little too late to be releasing. A dvdscreener should already be out by now with the retail in April. Good vcd screener. But the telecine was Great. And the movie must be watched in widescreen to enjoy properly.

video 8/8/ 6 poor ending to a great trilogy. movie was good until the last 4 mins got stupid.

stick with the telecines they are much better.

This is a full screen release which is kind of sad. I was hoping it was going to be widescreen.

don't get me wrong, they did ok, they just left it open for shit like "matrix: return of the revenge of the machines", multiple sequels to the ending of a trilogy, that's all. Not tied up enough, but then again, they're after our dollars, they got mine, probably get more from me in the future.

nice work boys but i think ill stick with the tc dvdr. should be a proper though, cause the previous two were pretty bad.

the movie had an open ending left in it for "mxo" available at: www.thematrixonline.com, which will involve us to furthor bring the story along..

most of you guys dont like the 3rd because you didnt know about the obvious New Age and Karma references nor the fast paced song at the end which let u know that the action wasn't over, just the whack journey of zion and the cool saga of neo saving them.

The films are done because they are the journey of neo and the journey of all that make up the path of the one, basically you should've even played Enter The Matrix with Ghost and Niobe.

If you did that, you should realize this was a film trilogy with the fans in mind who always wanted more out of the matrix..We got a 200 page comic book with short stories which leave u with more satisfaction than the Animatrix which hardly most of the sequel haters never saw. If you Seen the first movie, beat ETM with both characters, and have been reading the comics since the first movie came to theater(at their website), and then saw reloaded, and saw revolutions(got disappointed, but found out right away it doesn't end there) because it carries on with The Matrix Online, then you don't get the point at all.

Are you taking the piss or what?

We don't get the point?

I am a fan of The Matrix, The Trilogy, not The Matrix, The Franchise, you cockbite.

When I go to the movies to see a TRILOGY I expect to pay 3x$10 AUD and see three movies, and by the end have a sense of completion.

I don't expect to have to pay that plus $90 AUD for a very very very poor videogame, $30 for an admittedly nifty collection of animated short stories, God knows what for a 200 page comic book, and a subscription for a bloody online RPG just to get the whole story.

Call me old-fashioned...

well, i think there will be no sequel @ least for this time in the matrix. i mean neo & trinity are dead, maybe something about there next life...

shit... i still would watch it...

Umm did anyone else notice the little windows error message beeps in this release? I noticed at least 3, 1 early in the film and 2 close together in the Zion fight scene. (and no, it wasn't my computer, I was watching on a standalone dvd player...)

Also some major distortion/artifacts near the end for a minute or 2, but otherwise quite a good copy.

If you watched the movie and liked it.

Yea I heard the beeps. Kind of annoying. The sound has some hissing too. Somewhat good picture. Enjoyed it.

Pretty Good full Screen release. Pic does start out brighter and get just a little to dark during the heavy action scenes at the battle of Zion. Sound is very good. I would prefer widscreen, but this will do till retail. Movie was worst of the three imop.

Video-7.8 (Pic a little dark at times)
Audio-8.5 Very crisp audio
Movie-6.5 A little bit of a letdown to otherwise fine trilogy.

I just got CD1 in and for some reason, all of my media players tell me the file ends at 53:57, but it plays further when it's past 53:57 already!
Anyone else got this problem?

Posted by ChemBro210 on 02-13-2004 05:05 AM:

great release.....video is not good, and i hate fs, audio is pretty clear...but hey, im not bitching because i love the movie and im glad that NOX released this, because this will have to do me good till the retail
Great Movie also 7/8/9

Posted by shadowfax3000 on 02-16-2004 01:56 AM:

Picture is too dark. I prefer VideoCD's picture much better (despite for occassional discolorations in the top). The audio is good (kind of quiet though, have to turn your volume up quite a bit), but not worth hearing the god damn Windows dings. I really don't want to play it in front of friends and have to explain why they just heard a computer ding. Ruins the feel of the movie if you ask me. When I watch the Matrix I want to be escaped from a world without Windows, if only for 2 hours. Anyways, I deleted this version and kept my VideoCD release. With VideoCD's picture brightness and great colors, you can't go wrong. NOX's version is simply too dark, especially during scenes like Neo vs. Smith. I give this version a 7/7/9.

P.S. Yes, I gave this movie a 9, because I wasn't plagued by advertisements and previews like everyone else was. I refused to watch any trailers, TV previews, TV spots, behind the scenes crap, or anything that would give anything away from this movie. Which was pretty easy seeing as how I don't watch TV anymore. Because of my choice, it made the movie F**KING AWESOME. I came to the movie not expecting a thing and came out completely blown out of my mind. I didn't know what I was in for or what this movie could possibly have in it, and that made me enjoy it as much as the first one. This movie was good, it just wasn't to most people because they weren't surprised by anything. That's why the first movie was so good, it was a complete surprise. In short, the 2nd and 3rd movies' downfall was being advertised to hell. Try to think that it may not have been the movie that made them bad, it was the advertising.

Posted by Finite_Sky on 02-19-2004 04:51 AM:

a little grainy, and the audio kinda sucks. and this movie destroys the trillogy

7/6/4

Posted by JKozzy on 02-19-2004 04:12 PM:

Sorry, I'll stick to my telecine over this one. They should never release these movies in FS, it just doesn't do them justice. Not too great video, as previously said it's pretty dark. And the audio's kinda cruddy in a few places.

6/6/8

When a DVD SCR or Retail's out, I'll be a much happier camper.

Posted by JimRitchay on 02-22-2004 04:01 PM:

Didn't see this movie yet cause im waiting for a good copy.

Unfortunately this wasn't "the one".

So ill give it a 7/6/x and wait for a nice dvd.
