Long time no post..anyways
Nothing more to say that hasn't been said already.

Watched the POT release of this, and personally, i think it's plenty good. I will never understand maVen's choice of movies..if their releases are infact "homemade," why can't they try to do a movie like...Spanglish or Lemony Snicket? .. who knows, but anyways, props on a nice svcd telesync.

Great release as always......but I think I will stick with POT's release.

Posted by Prasman on 12-20-2004 07:28 PM:

Only checked sample

Typical maven quality

But no need for this release as POT's is good enough / same quality.

This release

Even if they are in fact "homemade" (which I am sure there could be lots of debate) doesn't mean that they always have a choice in the theatre conditions in which they are caming. Maybe they can only CAM in a certain screens in the theatre they have a hook up and maybe only on certain nights. And maybe they just do the movies they want.

But anyway on to the release...

Hadn't watch the whole release of any release but viewed a few rars the POT Release was more than enough but this is a slight if you don't have a release grab this if you have POT stick with it. As always an awesome SVCD TS

just watched CD1...great quality....POTs wasnt bad, but this is a lil better, so i would recommend this one if you have a choice between the 2...9/9/?? not done with it yet, but so far a 8

Posted by BLUE-NEO on 12-20-2004 10:18 PM:

Maven again with a great release keep them coming. Got CD1 now and I'm impressed. WTF happened to Blade Trinity, every release group looked over it. I thought Maven would have picked it up or even Centropy/Videocd.

Overall this release will definitely set suit. Nice Job.

Looks great so far, only watched about 1/3 of first disc.
Only saw 1 twat blocking the screen, very beginning only for a few seconds. Nothing missed because of it.

Thumbs up

Very Nice.....8/8..POT has been consistent with their vcd releases Me personally I like the svcd's....Major props for the Groups that release period tho.they put they asses on the line for us

Posted by ou812 on 12-21-2004 03:34 AM:

This has a 9min more runtime then POT's release... checked the timestamp on both. POT was 1hr 40min, maVen was 1hr 49min... So this is definatly the one to get. So don't listen to all those POT HEADS

Posted by firefighter on 12-21-2004 05:57 AM:

Nice but far from a sweet TELESYNC ....

If people actually watched the movie before voting you wouldnt have givent this a 9 for video

During opening scene you can tell this movie is on a serious angle and the whole left side is cut off. Center Screen is on the left. During the movie theres a ton of flickering & darkness around the edges. Also alot of motion blurness during fast moving scene's. Sound , perfect .

Nice TS , very watchable , but far from ... quote "amazing" , or "awsome".

This rls truly isn’t THAT much better than POT’s rls. If you’ve already got POT’s, stick with it…or, if you haven’t gotten either, do yourself a favor and skip this flick completely because honestly, the movie sucked ass. I personally think making this a svcd was a waste of time. POT’s rls was good enough. No matter what type of encoding you put on a film that lacks a good plot because everything is so pathetically predictable makes no difference, it still going to suck. Anyway thanks Maven for the rls, but I’m going to pass on this one.

Excellent thats all I got to say, If only all telesyncs looked as good as this then there woodnt be any need for forums like this. great work maven keep it up.

Posted by Da Postman on 12-21-2004 07:08 PM:

I kept my POT version and compared the two, I hate to say this since I know they did an excellant job, but the colors on Maven's is brighter and clearer. I can't comment about the additional 9 mintues, but I will watch and see. Thanks again for this Maven dudes.

Watched the full release last night. Very good TS. I haven't taken the time to look at the POT release, but i feel no need. I'm very picky when it comes to watching a TS, ill usually wait for a screener or retail, but i never found the quality irritating while watching this movie. Audio is perfect, as can be expected. Movie's very entertaining as well. Thanks Maven.

ok ...so i leeched this last night [this was one of those 'wanna see it but not giving my left nut and the mortgage to the house to pay' style movie..] - the quality is pretty decent, a bit 'reddish' + bright, but overall he obviously got a good seat haha..

its clear, and theres almost no flicker - the flicker is the biggest thing for me, there is NONE in the maVen Release - more then i can say for the icky TS from POT [yes there fast. yes there not too shabby..but you cant compared a proffesionally done PAL dv cam to a guy who is trying not to get caught in some shady theater.]

Sound is most excellent [as always] - this theater DTS thing is nice, too nice, we're all growing rather acustom - only maybe 6 months to 8 months ago DTS wasnt so big, and a nice TS was decent camish audio - im glad of the way this is going, i hope it never dies

as for people comparing this to POT release and saying its close - Not even in the ballpark! the maVen release is not flickery, a better resolution, a clearer image and definitley more detail. as i said, this is like the proffessional TS style, as POT is a more rushed silver job? doesnt even compare people!

Video is sharp, excellent colors and just damn good.

Audio was perfect.

It doesn't get much better than this. Hats off to Maven.
