Definately watchable. I'm gonna grab this one. For a TS the audio is weak though. But this is the best copy available now and its free.

7/6/ ?

is this really a telesync??? Sounds like cam to me.

Video-7.5
Audio- 5
Movie?

Posted by rivaldo on 04-28-2005 12:10 AM:

sound is camish but picture is very good...only a bit dark but it can be easily fixed with tmpgenc

7.5(8 after the tmpgenc filter)/6/?

Posted by lickmyzack on 04-28-2005 12:10 AM:

Video is decent, Audio is direct however it needs a little bass added to it... if you got controls on your TV or are running this through a sound system turning up the Bass should work out fine.

Over all a decent watchable copy.. far better than the prior POS.

7/7/8

Video quality is very nice, but as said before the audio is very hollow and has loads of distortion.

Very watchable though, and i doubt there will be a better release for a while.

8/6/?

Posted by Da Postman on 04-28-2005 12:20 AM:

I found the video a bit dull, but overall still has nice color to it. I haven't noticed any bad sound. I felt it was weak, but overall clean. Maybe it's someone else's system, but still this is the best thing available. VCD has done better, but this is still good. Thanks guys, nice to finally watch this one.

As mentioned very dark picture , colors are great though , flickering around the edges , other then that , typical VideoCD/maVen movie (picture) , very watchable. Sound on the other hand ... why oh why did they lable TS .. Definate hollow in the voices and background hiss to this (meaning not direct), but very nicely filtered.

Overall , this is much much much better then that crap STN put out 4 weeks ago , and didnt think we were gonna get a copy of this till a Screener/DVDScr. (yet to see it)

Sure its mislabled , but its still very watchable , ill be leeching this to watch. Thanks VideoCD.

7/4/?

not up to videocd's usual standards but much better than stn release. nuked for mislabled cam on site im on but i managed to grab it before they nuked it, the vid aint too bad just a bit dull but the audio sux im afraid a horrible hiss all through it.
video 5 watchable but dull

Guess Who *SVCD* - TELESYNC - VideoCD

not 1 off the best i have seen

it watchable a bit fuzzy in places and the adio is flat

5/5

Posted by Anno on 04-28-2005 07:20 PM:

For those that can't be arsed to sort the audio out themselves there is a Fixed/ Cleaned up audio availble on usenet for this release.
Makes a big difference and makes this release alot more enjoyable to watch.

6.5/4/5 (audio goes up to a 7 with fix)

Posted by rivaldo on 04-28-2005 07:44 PM:

where can we find that fix m8?

edit: i am not asking for the release,i am asking just for the audio fix...if this is also against the rules, sorry

Posted by Anno on 04-29-2005 12:03 AM:

Look on a usenet indexing site you should be able to find it easy enough.

Edited my own post didn't think it would be an issue as i wasn't linking to warez anymore directly than some of the links this site carrys itself i thought. Anyway sorry won't happen again.

Posted by Anno on 04-29-2005 05:37 AM:

No i didn't say where to get the movie from i said an audio fix slightly different but all the same it was wrong of me and since when have newsgroups been illegal? (and also not a rencode like i said just a seperate fixed audio thought some might like to know about but obviously choose the wrong place to mention it.)

And IRC_Moviefan as a Senior Member who knowing i was wrong to make the comment as someone who should have the interests of the site in mind if you knew what i done was wrong was there any need to quote a post that was only made the post before your own? It wasn't like half a page away. Hmm makes you wonder on the intentions of some.
Ban me or whatever if it's that bad.

Posted by nitemare on 04-29-2005 06:04 AM:

anno, thanks for the advise on grabbing the fix..im encoding it now using tmpg 3 express. will take about 1 hr 15min just for cd1. using a p4 3.2 ht pc..damn..takes longer than i thought! but i checked out the sample sound and its much clearer..

nice to see videoCD attempting a comeback...eeh....this one is a 6/6/7.....SAOSIN SAVE US!!!!

Uh, using TMPGenc just go MPEG tools, and Demultiplex (separate video / audio tracks), then Multiplex (join fixed audio/video tracks). Less than 15 minutes for both CD's on your machines specs.

Oh shut up, its just Guess Who.

Bwahahahahahaha!!!

Its more like, CENTROPY please save us with your fine movies like Winn Dixie and Ice Queen...

Um...

Should be nuked as said... I dont know who they think we are when they try and mislabel stuff and think that like 20 people are going to call em out... Oh well its only VideoCD nice try there fellas...

7 / 3 / 8

Funny as shit just watched it on standalone... Color is very dull but video is crisp and detailed... focus goes out in a few parts but its not even a grip...

Sound SUCKS... Hollow, hissy, flat, and just plain dull... Would have been one of the better TS comedy releases in a while but this whole CAM sound ruined it...

Thanks for the release VideoCD...

just watched this one hissing was bad at higher volumes but release was watchable i say 7.5/5/8

Posted by Moloko_Plus on 05-05-2005 08:46 PM:

I wonder what would happen if they made a movie with the plot going: "Father has lots to say about his white son/daughter marrying a black boy/girl"

You can imagine no one would shut up about racist the movie is. Ive never been able to figure out this concept.

Posted by mattmatt on 05-08-2005 12:47 PM:

guess who

not too bad. im not sure if this is a ts however. there is no bass to it and it sounds like its been filtered.
but near the beginning it trips out slightly when bernie mac is talking in his office, and the right channel cuts out about a second before the film ends (this would make me think its just poor direct sound).
picture is a little dark on indoor scenes as you cant see their faces and the beginning has a major issue with the autofocus but you dont miss anything.

Overall,

Video: 7 (would be 9 if it wasnt so dark)

Audio: 6.5 (Hissy on quiet scenes and no bass)

Movie: 6 (i prefered meet the parents alot but wasnt too bad)

Posted by Lawt on 05-11-2005 02:03 AM:

nice early release .. kind of pixelated here and there but overall a good release 7/6.5/8

Vid: 7.5
Aud: 7
Movie: 6.5
