I dont know if its me, but im sure this is out of sync,(after encoding with convertxtodvd) very slightly though.
As for the quality ...Not as good as most animation rips you get
Sound seems ok..except for the slight sync issue, saying that, ok for kids.
Movie is crap by the way...well not as good as number 2..
think i will wait for some re-encode or something ,which will def pop up anytime now.

i have to admit this looks really good... even if its from a p2p..
audio looks sync too me.. video is nice.. this is overall good movie, and the movie is good as well!

too many people becoming way too picky these days. At the end of the day no one is charging you for this, it is FREE, and it looks pretty good to me considering.

V=8 (not the best, but not the worst)
A=9 (nothing to complain abot here)
M=6 ( not the best, but ok. Had a lot to live up too.)

Looks ok for the kids to watch. It has not been nuked anywhere yet so i say let it be.

Should be better. Audio out of sync the whole way, but constant. I ran this and it came out perfect.

mencoder -ovc copy -oac copy -o test.avi fl-shrek3-xvid.avi

Great video but the audio is way off...

Can someone reliable confirm whether the audio is oos before I spend about 4 hours and a portion of my download limit downloading this beast?

this IS in sync, have you ever seen a CGI animation with perfect lipsync anyway? it looks slightly out coz it aint friggin real people lol .. dont believe me? dig out your DVDR retail copy of shrek 2 and check the lipsync on that.

The avi is fine as is mentioned. I convert all xvids to DVD using as many as three different programs depending on the xvid encoding. Lately, there has been a couple movies that had the same issue once converted. This movie IS one of those movies. If you convert it to DVD it will be out of sync. As far as animation being out of sync, not true, most animations are almost in perfect sync. Yes there are slight times where they are off, but hardly ever noticable. This one is really noticable.

a=5 for conversion issues
m=6.5 1st was the best, 2nd wasn't as good, third dropped a bit as well

EDIT: Post before mine mentioned a different version which I downloaded and converted and it is in perfect sync

Wierd - on PC out of sync - when played through divxplayer on TV no sync problems appear.

It's not that it is directly out of sync, it has a non-standard header, so some players will play it out of sync.
