..........................actually i just had a thought. In many countries the movie was cut heavily or banned outright (there is a piece about it on the official website where they also let you download quicktime movies of the scenes that were cut).

So, in theory, depending on the origin of this screener, it could be a worthy download as it might be a totally untouched copy. Though this is just a wild shot and i'm presuming it's just a standard SCR.

You never know though....

Great movie btw.

It just came out in theaters in US in limited release this summer,
and comes out on dvd in North America on Oct 8, 2002

Region4 dvd came out august 2001, region2 came out july2002. Region1 is out soon

Oops, PMTVCD didn't dupecheck .. It's a group request for a nuke afaik.

The screener for this was released in 2000, dvdrip svcd/divx in 2001.

Old But Not A Bad Movie.

This film was screened on Sky Tv last year and has been available on video rental for almost two years now here in the UK, so i was very surprised to see it here, the version shown on Sky Tv was said to be uncut and is still shown on the Sky Movie channels every few weeks or so, but although this is old and is sure to be Nuked this is still not a bad movie, its worth a watch if your into British Gangster Movies, Otherwise dont bother.

yes its an old film.....but We released Predator Special Edition DVD Rip just a few months ago ! AND BTW The Video Quality is Almost 100 % Identical to the DVD Original !

Rental

Sell throu (from virgin ,hmv £12.99 exc..)

the film gets rated a few times mainly to cut bits out of films ,this is the reason i buy my dvd's region 1

Reason for that is in the cinema most dont take the film home with them

Rental is basically harder for kids to rent out (underage)

sell throu its a lot easier for kids to get hold of this either parents self

Yeh ganster been out for a while now i seen it in a video shop a while ago

So I should go rent the matrix VHS, rip it even if there was already a screener and dvdrips, but since it's free that'll be ok with you then right? I'm assuming you would bitch too so stfu with that played out statement.

Saw it at the flicks (Little art house place in London), rented the dvd even watched it on sky a couple of months back. So why????? I think they probably hadn't bothered researching it and so when a screener fell into their lap they just encoded it without bothering to ask how new this film actually was. Probably force of habit, it is free but so is the dvd rip if you look for it and thats not got an anoying counter.
