I have seen the latest brand new trailer. It shows the T-X in her birtday suit and I must say she's looking mighty fine. Her breast are covered up with her long hair but they show a good shot of her ass . As she is approaching some dude in his Porsche. Cool scenes with Arnie hold the casket of Sarah Connor while he's fending off the police force with his sharp looking machine gun. Also some cool fight scenes of the T-X fighting with the T-100. One scene she shoves the T-100 and literally pushes him through the roof of a building. The T-X is liquid metal but can turn into machines and pure energy. Arnie is really talking this movie up. I hope it's as good as he says it is. Hey MovieGod, have you seen this movie yet?

I've been reading a lot of stuff about T3 lately. It seems that the peeps behind this might not be as inept as first thought. It seems that the studio wanted to keep the real script so secret that when an early and unused script was leaked they let everyone believe (including its own staff) that it was the script being used for production. Infact they went to such great lengths to stop people finding out a twist that happens in the last 20 min that only the 3 principle cast members involved in that scene were privy to the info...and only that was granted a week pre filming.

As for the the trailer... I never watch a trailer online thats RM. I always wait for lovely Quicktime!!

From what i hear it should be about next wednesday!! (Just to clarify i mean the Quicktime trailer. Not the actual release!!)

Yah, it's amazing how a 55 year old guy can get back into shape. Best shape he as been in since T2. The new trailer is pretty damn cool.

I hear that Arnie switchs from bad to good in this movie. Somehow the T-X has control over him untill something happens with him and John Connor.

three of us watched the new supposedly much better trailer (ie if a film needs 3 (ok one was teaser, but hush!) trailers to convince us its good, be afraid)

our conclusion ? omg.

"too polished looking". hell yeah. t2 was very rough and ready, t3 is all very pretty and shiny. most of the non-sfx parts look like they come straight out of a STV or Made for TV special. it looks utter dross.

i still have hope this film will kick ass, but looking at the crew, i really dont think so. its relying on a summer BO opening to survive, as the footage looks like its been complete for a reaaal long time....

I agree with pHo. I'm very skeptical that this will be at all worth watching, and that upsets me, because I've always thought that the Terminator universe could be expanded and continued in many different ways, almost like a 007 kind of thing. This film looks like it's going to ruin that possibility for sure.

Let's just face it. At the end of the day everyone here wants to watch this movie. It's The Terminator for gawd sakes!!

But yeah, we all 'hope' it will kick some serious arse, but when we look deep inside ourselves and bring out our true feelings.......we just can't help shaking off that 'smell' feeling.

We shall see the results this Summer. But again, like Matrix 2, Charlies Angels 2, ROTK etc etc etc. This is one movie you really want to see in the theatre rather than a shitty cam.

::edit. Just watched that trailer (couldn't wait for QT lol). Umm, all i can say is holy shit it looks smelly!!! Every trailer i've seen for this movie has made my opinion that this movie will smell grow ever larger.

I shudder to think how much money the WB have pumped in to this movie. The chequebook must have been crying lol. For all the fancy sfx, the movie just can't seem to shake off (like pHo said) that STV feel. Arnie looks desperately old and in need of a good movie, Clare Danes feels barable but my big surprise was that Kristina Lokken looks pretty good as this new Terminator. I was unsure for a long time, but now i am starting to get used to her in this movie. I still think T3 will smell though.

That must be a bad rencode of the real player version. Real player high bandwith was better quality. It was the lowbandwith that was blocky. Was this perhaps and encode of the low bandwith version?

have you seen the latest pics of arnie on the beach playing with his son>? hes lost all his muscles!! can arnie be as kick-ass without his huge muscles? maybe but surely the terminator is made at the peak of perfection and muscles would be needed!! anyways im sure it wont spoil anything and the movie is gonna be awesome!! all hail the comeback of the REAL action hero!!!!

Apple rule tho... The quicktime trailers are Mint compared to crappy Real Player or that poxy Windows thing. Those formats are only 1 step above having a bunch of Polaroids and getting your mate to stand behind you doing the voice over while you flick through them.

Arnold gained 20 pounds and worked out heavy for 6 months to reprise the role. In some behind the scene footage. He is walking through and looking pretty big. Just the same as T2. He has genetics from hell to get back like that. Especially with his age.

and regards to macs sure they look better but pcs have taken them over in speed and performance and i can only imagine how hard it is to find mp3s on a mac cos theys only about 100 mac users in the world right?
pcs win everythime cos how can you use a computer without a right mouse button or a scroll wheel??? it must be painful!!!

And about the one-button thing. I've said it before, I'll say it again: I have a 5 button USB mouse plugged into my PowerBook. But in truth, all I need is the one button ... especially when I use the XWindows side of OS X, which is practically all the time. Multiple buttons are for gamers, that's about it.

Wow, so many idiotic points in one post. However do you manage it?

First of all, Arnie doesn't use steroids. If you read any of his biographies, you'll see multiple chapters devoted to his anti-steroid stance.

Second, only a person who knows absolutely nothing about processors, caches, and instruction pipelining would say that PCs are faster than Macs. I've compared my 867MHz G4 chip and a 1.8GHz Intel chip at DVD ripping and encoding to DivX5 AVI, and the Mac blows the PC out of the water cuz of the G4's vector arithmetic hardware. There are tons of sites online where you can go to see similar speed tests.

Third, what does "performace" mean if you've already said the word "speed" in a sentence? Be precise.

Four, what does an operating system have to do with the availability of MP3s? Are you so ignorant that you don't understand the concept of a "computer network"? See, there's this thing called the "In-Ter-Net" that doesn't care about your hardware, software, or operating system. Everything available online is available to any user running a network client that obeys the standards. I download dozens of MP3s a day onto my Mac. On Macs there's even a new program called iCommune that interfaces with the standard MP3 player (iTunes) to make the downloading of MP3s from other Mac users over the "In-Ter-Net" as easy as clicking a link.

Five, in my previous post I pointed out that 5-button mice are easily available on a Mac, but that I rarely find a need for any extra mouse buttons. The scroll wheel is also there, but I don't need that either. In fact, for almost everything I want to do on OS X, I just use the keyboard. I rarely touch the mouse. That was true on my Mac Plus 10 years ago and remains true now.

Six, how limited is your intellect? Just because someone claims that one technology is better than another, it must automatically be the same as another not-at-all-similar debate that took place over a decade ago?

Seven, my Mac never crashes.

u mac users a re soo pretective of your systems!!! youve got me on a few points there cos i am totally ignorant to macs i had no idea you could dl any music and play them thats cool and performance wise im just going on what tech tv has been saying that pcs have taken over macs for the time being (maybe they havent but tech tv thinks they have) and the arnie thing was a joke although he has stated that early in his career his trainer used to give him handfuls of pills and hed take them cos he was young and naive
anyways i take my hat off too you and happy mac-ing!!! lol

I agree. This post was to talk about T3. Not about mac computers.

Arnold did admit using steroids for the first Conan movie. And he beleives that his steroid use in his 20s may have caused him to obtain a faulty heart valve. Which he had to have fixed. I wonder if he will have the long scar down the middle of his cheast or will that be covered up via cgi?
