BIG improvement-- much, much better than the previous release. I asked my 5 year old if it was a "little" better or a "lot" better (he watched the ftf version) and he said a "lot" better.

GREAT WORK iMM!!!!

Oh, by the way, it's also on ONE disk, which should give those people who hated the 3 CD ctp releases an organism.

i fit Juwanna Mann on 1 CD but it paused and skipped explain that.

anyway im glad a proper came out cuz what some of u guys said the quality was bad now its better and fits on 1 CD ! YES.

i just tested out this proper and does any1 know how much is cut off from the beginning in this release??? runtime says 85min and this movie only ran for 80

No he was talking about basing a review on the sample, nothing to do with jpegs.
a lot of the time the sample is not a reflection of the quality of the release.
Sometimes there are sync probs that arent in the release and vice versa.
It is usual to post about the whole movie, how can you rate the overall audio, visual or movie quality of a release if you have no idea if the only part of the movie that HAS sound is the part included in the sample or if they've cut huge chunks from the movie, maybe an audience member was making shadow puppets for the last 10 minutes, etc.

Personally I'm quite happy to get some feedback from the sample so that i can decide whether to grab the movie at all, i dont usually bother with samples just rely on feedback.

oops sorry just realised I've not actually watched the damn movie so i cant get back on topic.......Sorry :P

now watched the movie, The sound was really bad on my standalone for the first 4:45 then goes fine.
The video is kinda blue but clear, this might be the movie not the capture.
On the whole watchable and a good release 6.5/5.5/7.5 my kids loves it! With no complaints about quality so thumbs up!

I would grab another version if/when its released as there is plenty of room for improvement.

I don't think that reznor was talking about the jpeg, but judging by Ren's educated remark, I figured that Ren might think that reznor was talking about the jpeg instead of the actual sample.

IMO, posts not reguarding to *vcd QUALITY* or movie discussion, should be fully removed! There are random forums for that.

I would like to read these theads, and 100% read people posting full descriptions of their experience in watching the movie in full spectrum or simple movie discussion!

the best rls of this flick so far ..

video blotches like twice in the film .. and ditto for audio.. and at the start for about the first 3-4min of the movie the audio is poor .. comming in and out .. but after that, its clear sailing and a great rls specially for 1CD

a coupla things that buggered me a twee bit was how the Hawaiians felt a little stereotyped or characatured (but ever so slightly)...which is odd, considering i can put up with, no, LOVE fucked up stuff like Dogma... and the guns were squirty sounding...

yadda yadda, it's a kids movie, but at least make use of the PG rating and make them laser sounding... =/ ...granted it was intentionally made to sound less menacing...

My Opinion

After sampling the FTF version and this immvcd version, its mine opinion this release is just an re-encode of the ftf version(or vice versa). The sound on both releases sounds the same and the picture is practically the same on each, even from the jpeg samples this is obvious. This picture is a tad too dark and not clear enough.

Picture was fine, a lil blue, but the sound "kinda" suxs, but not bad, a slight distortion like its cam, sound deffinatly dosent sound like a mic jack, or a ts. Lols to the vcdupdater that says this is an unknown group. Sorry there just not as popular as ctp. Dam Im hearing that song "popular" in my head and having flashbacks. These are bootleg movies not tommy hilfieger jeans, who cares what "name brand" they are (in response to fut)

Yeah, gotta agree with the right honourable gentleman on this matter. The sound is below par. Its not as bad as some cams but defo not as good as most telesyncs.

Still, enjoyable flick and defo the best we are likely to see for a while.
