this maybe a partially loud release, and i mean partially, but helps with any hiss, and i havent watched in entirety but i see a 8 on video it is nice no doubt, i dont wanna go higher b4 i see the whole thing, a 6 in audio, it is nice also, but alot of cams are now a days, which made the scale on indirect audio change, and with the film itself, not 1st on my list but i will edit when i see it all... for quick lookers...

Not a bad CAM at all, bit tilted in the sample though. Sound is actually very good, picture is kinda blurry but nice. Movie doesn't interest me so i won't be getting this at all.

This film only plays in a hand full of Film Festivals. Doubt there will be a TS. Either get this or wait for DVD. Myself, I'll be watching this...

(Edit: After fully watching it I noticed the guy who shot the CAM was a rookie. Did alot of rookie mistakes like continuing to adjust over and over and eating popcorn for the first 30min. If you can put up with these very annoying features, then watch it. If not wait for the DVD. BTW it cuts off at the end shy too. Don't know by how much, just know there's no ending.)

Very nice rls VideoCD. Been waiting for this film a very long time!
Video is very nice for a CAM although a little tilted.
Sound is OK.

Since the film has only been played at about 8 film festivals i'm suprised they managed to get a rls so soon.

I love Metallica, however: Metallica are no longer young and hungry, and when you're young and hungry you make different music. Now they're old, rich and famous and it shows thru their music. St Anger was pathetic; no guitar solos in a heavy metal cd? C'mon! The need to listen to the older cd's like Master of Puppets...
This movie played out like the Real World: Metallica sings the blues. O woe is them...
My advice to metallica: shut up and play yer guitars.

Lame metallica crap, more nu-metalshite here then on the whole of ther ride the fucking lapdog cd.

get it for your 12yrr angesty brother, theres nothing worth seeing here.

Yeah, I saw this in the theater and much of the end is cut off completely. There is the whole section with MTV Icon and, mot importantly), the single best part of the movie, their return to the road (which is a VERY good climax.

If you can wait, skip this one. The ending is important to the overall story

Bah! This should have been nuked. Had it been any other group releasing it, I'm sure it would have been. Missing major portion of the ending. Don't waste your time.

video is not bad at at all. great cam. sound is good for a cam as well. no real intrerset in this rls, but great to see VideoCD back with some nice rls!

If you want to watch a bunch of old men sitting around and crying like bitches this movie is for you.

I hope it gets released wide and tanks like their oil drum album did.

there is 17 minutes missing from this release according to imdb.com so wait for either a screener or the dvd

pic is subpar for a cam, and the camer drops the damn cam at one point.

sound is washed out and some places speech is inaudible, but that's really cause it's thru a mic and the metallica music really drowns everythng else out.

Personall, i hate metallica, never got into them much, but this is a great movie, for fans and haters alike, i have to give respect to those guys, even after the napster garbage.

Plus, where else are you gonna see the fathers of hard metal talking to a damn shrink and acting like babies.

Propz to VideoCD!! Although the ending is missing, you can see the overall picture of where the movie was going and put the rest together. Seeing how there is no (as of yet) competition out there, I cannot complain. Nice Job!!!

The release was a bit wonky for the first few minutes. Other than that I am very pleased with what I saw. I could hear what they were saying and see what was going on. I'm just happy to have gotten to see this one as it will never get a theatre release where I live.

deserves a 7/7/9 especially for a cam
