The Incredibles *NTSC* - DVD SCR - booZerS

Nice dvdscr time of year!!!

This should be a good one for the nephews.

Posted by porco556 on 12-10-2004 11:40 PM:

WOW... I am happy to see this. One question though for someone that actually got/watched it:

Any serial numbers, scrollers, or "black and white" scenes?

Since it's Disney, I expect a scroller will be there most likely. JUST a guess though. I hope to be wrong for sure.

Great movie though. Going to buy this one 100% when it comes out. Kinda violent for the kids though But I guess things are not as innocent as when I was a kid anymore (I remember hearing "bitch" on TV and snorted out my drink... Now it's super ass tame for full out swearing at 3:00pm)

DD5.1? is this confirmed i definetly trust Boozers, but just checking, and same question most others have ..since this is a screener...what exactly do we have to deal with? b&w, warnings?
TIA

Posted by thredworm on 12-11-2004 12:58 AM:

Property of Disney Pixar - top and bottom of screen every 10 minutes or so. Stays there for like 5 seconds. No b&w scenes that I've seen so far...

Posted by Enzomatrx on 12-11-2004 01:25 AM:

scanning through, same report as the above poster. It's very similar to Monsters Inc. DVD Screener.
Didn't Finding Nemo like have no watermarks in its DVDScr? Frick if I can recall.

Still, very good release, best yer gonna get until retail. Will be purchasing this one anyway (when it eventually hits, still surprised at the early release of this quality).

EDIT:: just checked out full thing and yep it does have chapters but no menus, and to the poster below i watched the rars with media player classic like neversofty says

Posted by jrob on 12-11-2004 02:38 AM:

incredibles

How did you view individual rar files if you can at all.

[EDIT:: Drag/drop the file into Media Player Classic or VideoLan (VLC) - Neversoft]

Posted by mooseman2070 on 12-11-2004 03:44 AM:

fuck it if theres b&w/messages , the quality is kickass, plus DD EX 5.1

as a dvdscr..

10/10/8 cant get much better than this..10 for video becase you should just expect black and white/messages in MOST dvd screeners (except a few out there ;0)

Fantastic release, i have half of the SVCD and XVID versions as i was too impatient to wait for this.
Near perfect video quality, no B/W bits, and the messages aren't too annoying.
Sweet sounding 5.1 sound too.

Alright... Watched it all... Damn that's nice stuff.

Only got that "Property of Disney Pixar" on the top and "Do Not Duplicate" on the top/botton. Occurs are everything 12 mins and stays for around a minute.

Picture is super though. I originally watched the TS of this, and this time it was like watching a whole different movie (well, not EXACTLY).

Although the video was downsampled, it still gets a 10/10 from me (which I don't give)... I can't wait to get the retail. Best Pixar video quality to date IMO. Finding Nemo was finding artifacting, and that was untouched. This is superior.

The 5.1 DD is such a nice bonus too!!

10/10 video. 9/10 movie (I think Iron Giant was Brad Bird's best still).

Posted by oqwarrior on 12-11-2004 10:31 PM:

Beautiful release. The DD 5.1 was fantastic. The 'property of' message comes up once every 12-15 minutes or so and only stays on the screen for like 7 seconds. Screener season has arrived!

10/10/9

Posted by vcduk2000 on 12-11-2004 11:15 PM:

ok, just watched it all

every 15 mins the warnings appear for no more than 5-10 seconds.... not for as long as a minute as stated in the above post

no black and white scenes at all

it has chapter marks

on my 28" tv it looked perfect
on my 32" tv it looked a little fuzzy due to the downsampling

but overall a fantastic release

many thanks

Hehe... I guess I stared at it and stopped watching the movie during that time... But ya, I withdraw the minute comment

Posted by Ripper on 12-12-2004 04:41 AM:

Is there any particular reason why the image is smaller if its downsampled, i know it wont make much differance but all he same.
4.09 GB (4,394,633,216 bytes)

Using a 42 inch widescreen tv and quality is fine will buy this 1 when it hits region 1 retail which wont be till round feb or march this will do nicely till then thanks boozers

Nearly perfect release. I love it. 9/10/10.

Looks great, perfect except for the watermark, but still sweet. Any one know if its like a subtitle track, that could be taken out?

either way, i loved this movie so much i will be adding the retail version to my dvd collection.

OMFGz0R this kicks ass! movie hasn't even hit the cinemas here yet. "property of" messages are easily ignored, and I doubt the retail version will have better video quality than this.

There is a pause in the scene where Elastigirl stretches away from Mr Incredible on the rooftop in the first minutes of the film. WinDVD and Denon catch the pause, while Nero Player doesn't have the problem interestingly. There are other pauses in the release. It does not matter if the files are extracted to the HD or running off the disc. Suggestions?

A Bad burn or a bad download, i watched this on a Pioneer and it was fine, X-Box played it perfect too.

What did you burn with? I used Nero, dvdshrink, MagicISO with 3 = results on Plextor712 & Taiyo Yuden DVD-R. Used isobuster to run the image from the HD. No repairs necessary for the download.
Haven't tried xbox. Not complaining, just want to get it burned right.

i would like to know how to disable the subtitle track also.
can this be done with either shrink or decrytper.
is it my dvd player that does these subtitles? my tv?
sorry i don't know exatly how dvd technology works.
or is this something i'll have to live with because that's how it was made?

thanks in advance

Hi all.

I just downloaded this release and I am unable to burn it with NERO. Says its to large to fit on an 80 min cd. Disc 1 is 79m 50sec. I have overburn set to 81min. Can anyone tell me how I can burn this? I am also getting an invalid field parameter error.

Thanks

Posted by Ripper on 12-29-2004 12:07 AM:

Crank this is the dvdr section mate not the svcd section i havebnt burned a cd in ages but try using goldenhawk cdrwin and it should overburn it for you

Question burning the dvd

whats up. watched this on my computer and it gets 10/10/10
i got the file that is a full 4gb and i am pretty sure it is an mp2 file. i was just wondering how i would burn such a big file onto dvd. i see that all of youguys have not had problems with burning. i thought it was an image but dvd decrypter will not burn it and authoring programs like sonic my dvd and dvd architect will either not load the entire movie or not load it at all. anyone have any ideas?

Posted by bcn_246 on 01-09-2005 09:40 PM:

Movie: 9
Audio:10
Movie: 5

Video is very good, but looks downloampled on my TV in parts of the movie. Audio is great. I think the movie is crap though.

The "do not duplicate" message comes up for a few seconds every 15 minuets, but is not a problm.

Well done booZerS!

Posted by evilc on 01-19-2005 01:39 AM:

This plays fine on my Laptop (From the HDD, using PowerDVD) but if I burn it to a disc and play in a DVD player, it skips (Video and Audio). In high motion scenes it stutters constantly, making it unwatchable.

If I connect the laptop to a TV via S-Video, and use the SAME SOFTWARE (PowerDVD) it skips !?!?!?

Is this likely to be a PAL / NTSC issue ? (I am in the UK)
Shouldn't be, my TV and DVD player both support PAL and NTSC.

Any ideas ?
